Hi girls! I got a new phone and completely forgot my log in details.

I’ve hit the viability stage now... had lots of period pain today so despite that, went and started feeling terrified again. 25 week appointment this week.

Found out I’m being medically suspended from the 7th Feb, so that makes me feel a little safer from covid.

Just going to have a catch up on the thread

krj2688 · 22/01/2021 07:19

Morning everyone

I received my recurrent miscarriage appointment yesterday. 29th April 😬 feels a lifetime away. This could also be delayed due to covid and the tests take 12 weeks. We have decided during this wait we will try again. I have just missed my fertile period annoyingly! It Was Tuesday 🤦🏽‍♀️ next month it is! X

SS123456 · 22/01/2021 07:52

That's good news @Sansa87 , you'll have a lovely long maternity leave 😊

@krj2688 so glad you've got your appointment, that is rubbish it will take so long though 😔. Is going private an option at all?

OP posts:
krj2688 · 22/01/2021 08:00

@SS123456 I did call a few private ones yesterday and they aren't actually taking on due to covid as they class this as non essential 😬

SS123456 · 22/01/2021 09:01

@krj2688 ah no that's rubbish 😔. I am not sure where you are based but I am under Herts & Essex Fertility if that helps

MrsB2019x · 22/01/2021 11:49

Morning girls ☺️

@krj2688 So glad you have a date through! Hopefully the wait goes quickly for you

@Sansa87 Can’t believe you’re 25 weeks already! Glad you’re being signed off from work soon

I’m 11 weeks today, our dating scan is 4th Feb. So excited but also have that niggle that something might be wrong when we get there!

Sansa87 · 22/01/2021 11:56

@MrsB2019x I went to my 25wk appointment yesterday fully prepared for them not to be able to find a heartbeat. I was hoping by now I’d feel “safe” but nope, always expecting the worst 🙄

I can’t believe how far you are already though! I feel like it was only yesterday you got your bfp

That’s such a long wait @kirinm I’m sorry they don’t see it as more urgent when it absolutely should be. The strain on mental health should at the very least be considered a priority.

SS123456 · 22/01/2021 12:45

@MrsB2019x not long to go now 😁

@Sansa87 I honestly don't ever remember ever feeling 'safe' when I was pregnant with my DS. It only gets worse when they arrive too as each stage has more 'scary' things that can happen (cot death, choking, falling down the stairs, illness), I feel like haven't stopped worrying for over 9 years 🙈 . You do just get used to the on edge feeling over time though, it is just part and parcel of being a parent unfortunately

How are you doing @whambam89 ? Is today ovulation day?

How's everyone else? The only exciting thing going on here is the will we / won't we expectation of snow ❄️

whambam89 · 24/01/2021 10:42

@kirinm today should be ovulation day, I've not tracked but I'm almost certain that I ovulated Thursday / Friday which means there's pretty much no chance of a BFP this month so that's great.. that's how my body feels about not tracking clearly 😂 no EWCM since Thursday and boobs have been tender since Friday. So if I'm right then I ovulated on CD16. We'll see - going to keep DTD anyway just in case. How are you getting on?

SS123456 · 24/01/2021 11:16

@kirinm our snow started in the last half an hour and is getting quite heavy now, it looks very pretty from the window 😁. Nothing too much to report on this side thankfully. I have a 10 week scan on Thursday so starting to feel a little nervous about that. We dtd last night for only the second time since the bfp but we are both feeling quite cautious about it! How are you getting on @kirinm?

OP posts:
SS123456 · 24/01/2021 11:16

@whambam89 did you manage to dtd much before ovulation? 🤞🏻for you 😁

OP posts:
whambam89 · 24/01/2021 11:38

@ss123456 no 🤦🏻‍♀️ literally once on CD15 which is the only time this month that would actually possibly turn into a BFP so it's unlikely.. feel like we maybe needed a bit of a relaxed month though so not the worst thing x

whambam89 · 24/01/2021 11:39

We've had loads of snow, a bit sick of seeing it now haha. Even DD said she doesn't like it anymore 😂

SS123456 · 24/01/2021 11:40

@whambam89 I don't blame, it becomes quite consuming after a while doesn't it. You never know, lots of people conceive during months they had written off 😁🤞🏻

OP posts:
whambam89 · 24/01/2021 12:33

@ss123456 the only silver lining is that maybe with ovulating a little earlier my cycles might be finally going back to what they were this time last year before the ectopic

SS123456 · 24/01/2021 12:41

@whambam89 I really hope so!

OP posts:
MrsB2019x · 24/01/2021 13:06

We’ve had NO snow! 🙄 we never do as we’re near the sea so the salt in the air kills it off.

Got everything crossed for you @whambam89, only takes once 🤞

SS123456 · 24/01/2021 13:22

How are you doing @MrsB2019x ?

OP posts:
MrsB2019x · 24/01/2021 14:34

@SS123456 Had a total write off day yesterday, was SO nauseous ☹️ Didn’t even get out of bed until 1pm! But actually feeling pretty good today ☺️ How are you getting on?

whambam89 · 24/01/2021 14:56

@MrsB2019x not long and you'll be over the nausea hump, hope you're ok! X

SS123456 · 24/01/2021 21:18

@MrsB2019x you poor thing 😔. Hopefully not too much longer until your symptoms start to ease off a bit 🤞🏻. It is just such a long time to feel ill isn't it, you almost lose the will to live after a while

I'm feeling pretty rubbish too but the nausea has eased slightly. I was really sick with my DS so I am just trying to remind myself of that each day as I am grateful to not be that bad this time around as it could be so much worse. I am getting quite a lot of headaches but that could be partly because I can't shift the covid cough still. I had a prolapse after having DS and the constant coughing is putting pressure on that and making the pessaries I am on quite hard to use as there is an almost resistance to them going in and the cough has kind of shifted things south?! 🙈. Thankfully only 2 and a half more weeks of those though 🤞🏻

OP posts:
MrsB2019x · 24/01/2021 21:40

Thanks girls 😘 I have been quite fortunate I guess, I’m nowhere near as bad as some people get it but I do have bad days.

@SS123456 I’m glad you aren’t feeling as rough as you did with your DS, I couldn’t cope with feeling super rough and having another child to look after! Not envying the pessaries they don’t sound pleasant ☹️

kirinm · 25/01/2021 09:33

We ended up getting loads of snow in the space of an hour. It has all disappeared now though.

Very negative OPK this morning so I'm guessing I won't be ovulating on CD12 this month (which is tomorrow). Typical that I don't have many OPKs left.

MrsB2019x · 25/01/2021 10:51

@kirinm Typical, may be a good thing it’s a bit later though? Can you get more OPKs delivered?
