So I stupidly tested with the IC I've got. They are awful so I'm not reading too much into this. I'm on my 7dpo or 8dpo at best.

@kirinm I want to get excited for you, becauSe I see something, but I hate what these ic’s have done to you in the past.

I have everything crossed that it’s a real line. ❤️

I'm not going to get excited. I don't trust these tests at all and I would be surprised to get a line on these early.

I only took one because I feel a bit rough and a head cold was one of my first symptoms with my DD. Didn't expect anything to show up. Only time will tell. I can't test like a maniac because I don't have the tests and can't be bothered to buy any.

Tbh I'm more worried about getting covid than being pregnant at the moment.

@kirinm I am feeling ok but I am just crazily short of breath and tired. It is just the worse time to be pregnant and home schooling really! My DS tested negative thankfully, no idea how though as he is always around us both

I really hope you haven't got covid! I was exposed on the Friday and by the Monday I was feeling really short of breath but not ill. By the Tuesdays morning I had a sore throat and was then coughing by the afternoon. By Wednesday I was feeling quite rough but no fever or anything and my cough was getting a bit worse. My OH never got a sore throat though and went straight to a cough with a tight chest and he had on and off fevers. Is it worth taking a test to ease your mind?

I so hope that IC is right for you but I don't blame you for feeling cautious after the other times they have shown lines in the past. Fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏻

@kirinm I’m in exactly the same boat as @Sansa87, I can definitely see something but you have had the world’s worst evaps in the past 😫 Are you going to test again in 48 hours? I really hope this is it for you!

@SS123456 that's great news about your DS. How many days of isolation do you have left? Will you arrange a scan?

I'm asthmatic but I'm not wheezy but I can sort of feel a sense of breathing feeling heavier. I usually feel like this at the start of a cold. I was meant to go for a run today but haven't, i think I would find it quite hard but will probably manage a quick workout tonight so I'm not too bad.

I've got a headache too and a sort of sore throat. I didn't sleep well last night though so the headache could be because of that. But my DD has had a cold for ages so it could also be that! So many possibilities.

I don't really feel like I should take a test unless I get an official symptom. I'll see how I feel tomorrow. I think it'll either develop into something by then if it is anything at all.

Same. I can obviously see the line but I've seen lines so many times before and they've not amounted to anything! It seems too early for a line anyway especially on these rubbish tests.

I have one of them left. I may take it in a couple of days but don't really feel like buying anymore unless I feel pregnant. If I'm 8dpo today (at the latest) then I guess by 11dpo I'd get a reliable result so maybe Sunday?

@kirinm I'm asthmatic and get that same feeling in my chest/back a few days ahead of a cold too. Strangely though I didn't get that feeling with covid! Take it easy and hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow after a good sleep 🤞🏻. We come out of isolation on Tuesday so not too much longer to go thankfully. I want to arrange a scan but its awkward now my DS won't be at school. I may have to just be brave and go alone but it will be so hard if it's bad news

@MrsB2019x I've still got the fitbit on but mainly because it is my watch too and I can't find a spare one to use! My resting heart rate has dropped from 84bpm to 66bpm so it's a massive drop even if it isn't pregnancy related! I woke in the night short of breath and it was 58bpm at that point which I can't recall ever seeing before!

How is everyone doing?

I don't feel any worse than I did yesterday so am less anxious about covid now!

@SS123456 could your fitbit be broken? To have risen by 20bpm in such a short space of time does seem like a lot - mine didn't increase that much over the entirety of my pregnancy.

@kirinm I don't think it is as it is accurately clocking my heart rate through the day. I have just booked a private scan for Tuesday as I finish my covid isolation on Monday. I genuinely feel I've had a missed miscarriage so I am dreading having this scan alone 😔. The yellow was my 'pregnant' rate and the blue was when I had covid. It is now below my AF rate. I think the progesterone pessaries may be stopping bleeding happening 🤷🏻‍♀️

@SS123456 I can understand your anxiety but will keep my fingers crossed that it is just your body having got used to being pregnant.

I just did the second IC and it is negative so yesterdays was just a dodgy evap / indent again. All of those tests are gone now and I'm never buying them again! I'm okay as I didn't really trust it.

@kirinm thank you! I am still clinging onto some hope but I need to mentally prepare myself for not getting a positive outcome so it's not a complete shock on the day (particularly doing it on my own and travelling back on my own after)

Ah no I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm glad that was the last of those awful tests though!!

How is everyone?

I’m back at work tomorrow after a week off, & I’m freaking out a bit due to covid. I’ve heard that pregnant women 28w & over are being medically suspended, but I’m only 23.

I know I’m being silly, but bleh. After having the mmc during the last lockdown and having to do it all alone including the surgical management whilst oh was in the car park, I think I’m almost getting lockdown ptsd.

@Sansa87 Is there any way you could work from home?

@Sansa87 If it is stressing you out that much could you use a combination of annual leave and unpaid leave to take you through to 28 weeks perhaps? You really want to avoid catching it if possible as it has really knocked me for 6 and it's not something you need on top when you are pregnant

@Sansa87 i don't know what you do for a living but can it not be done at home?

No, can’t work from home sadly. I run a delivery department, so whilst I try and hide in office a lot, I end up in the shop floor a lot.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s quiet due to the businesses we cater to who have been impacted by covid, but still have the odd person who doesn’t believe in covid and shouts about it out loud and refuses to wear a mask 🤦🏼‍♀️

I have to park a 10 min walk from the clinic so I just hope I don't end up an emotional mess on the walk back to the car if things have gone wrong
