@SS123456 that's really weird that they won't scan you between the dates! Was it because they had no availability or because they just don't do it?

SS123456 · 04/01/2021 15:59

@whambam89 they don't do it apparently, it's a bit odd!

Oh @SS123456 I’m so sorry 😭 That seems to strange though considering you’re paying so much money to be registered with them? Are they just full or is there a medical need to wait until 10 weeks?

MrsB2019x · 04/01/2021 17:24

Sorry cross posted, didn’t realise there was another page 🙄

SS123456 · 05/01/2021 07:06

Finally got my results, positive as expected. I have such a bad feeling about the pregnancy but I think my body will just carry on being 'pregnant' because of the progesterone I'm on. A resting heart rate drop of nearly 20bpm over 5 days kind of tells me what's happened. I was exposed to covid on the 25th Dec, by the 29th Dec my heart rate spiked, and it has plummeted ever since. I'm feeling so gutted and angry that someone else did this to me and my baby 😔

kirinm · 05/01/2021 07:50

I'm sorry you're feeling so low @SS123456 how much longer do you need to isolate? I think you should contact EPU and see if they'll see you as it's not good to be feeling as low as you sound.

My RHR can jump up when I'm sick, especially if my breathing is affected (I'm asthmatic too). You said you felt breathless and because it's covid that could have impacted your RHR. But also as I said previously, I took my Fitbit off as it freaked me out too much.

whambam89 · 05/01/2021 08:05

@SS123456 I agree with Kirinm, I think you should contact EPU if you're feeling so low. Really hope you're wrong and all is ok ❤️

SS123456 · 05/01/2021 08:07

Thank you @kirinm ❤️. Assuming my son tests negative our isolation will end Monday night but I have a feeling he'll be positive too which will extend it. Once I have his result I will give the EPU a call and get booked in. I've had a few twinges on one side this morning so I'm not too sure if I will make it that far

MrsB2019x · 05/01/2021 08:16

@SS123456 So sorry you’re feeling so low 💙 I’d be incredibly angry she has done this to your family too. My advice is to seriously ditch the Fitbit, I think it’s causing more worry than good at this stage. You may not be able to go up there but could you possibly call EPU anyway just to talk things over with a professional to try and put your mind at ease? x

SS123456 · 05/01/2021 08:20

@MrsB2019x I'm beyond fuming as she continually causes us hassle (OH is 2 years into a court battle over the children with her) so this is just the icing on the cake really. Thanks so much for the support ladies ❤️. I think the school may regret calling me today to check up on how much homeschooling we have got through 😂

Are you testing @whambam89 ?

whambam89 · 05/01/2021 08:40

@SS123456 she sounds like such an awful woman!

@kirinm already tested, BFN as anticipated! Guess I'll just wait for AF now 🙄😭

MrsB2019x · 05/01/2021 09:06

@whambam89 Nooooo 😭 I totally thought this was it for you!

SS123456 · 05/01/2021 09:27

Oh no @whambam89 😔. What dpo are you?

OP posts:
whambam89 · 05/01/2021 09:28

@MrsB2019x I could be as little as 10dpo (although I think I'm 11dpo) and it wasn't a sensitive test but I think it's pretty unlikely now! I've got toothache and sore boobs but no other real "symptoms" apart from a few non-AF like cramps on and off, so I'm going to assume I'm out 😭 it's a year this month since we got pregnant with the ectopic so would have been nice to be pregnant again by now but obviously it doesn't work like that!

kirinm · 05/01/2021 09:35

Oh I'm sorry @whambam89 although achy teeth is an interesting symptom! I had rest sensitive teeth in my tww back in July / august and I got pregnant that month. It ended in a chemical but still, it could be a sign!

kirinm · 05/01/2021 09:36

Sorry that should've read 'I had very sensitive teeth'

whambam89 · 05/01/2021 09:45

@kirinm I think it's a progesterone thing for me, I usually get it just after I ovulate for a few days but haven't had it in a while!

SS123456 · 05/01/2021 10:09

@whambam89 that's interesting, i've not heard that about teeth before! @kirinm

I feel so nauseous this morning, just had to force a biscuit down. I feel like my poor body is so confused! Just caught my reflection in the mirror and I almost look grey, it's not a good look! 😂

Honest opinions ladies, do I set my mindset as 'there is still hope' or set it more towards 'it may not happen now'. I'm flitting between the two but can't decide what will help best if the worst does pan out?!

OP posts:
whambam89 · 05/01/2021 10:21

@SS123456 I think if you're feeling nauseous there is 100% still hope! X

MrsB2019x · 05/01/2021 10:29

Honestly @SS123456 there is still hope. If you didn’t own a Fitbit then you would have never known any different. Nausea is good! (Kinda lol 😵) I also feel like I’ve been hit by a bus this morning 😂🥴

kirinm · 05/01/2021 10:29

@SS123456 I think you need to assume things are good. RHR isn't a reliable indicator of anything at all. That seems to be the only thing that is making you doubt things.

I think it's really important to try and remember that a lot of things get talked about on forums like this that actually medical professionals would think nothing of. I mentioned a chemical pregnancy to the gynaecologist at the EPU and she was like 🤦🏻‍♀️. It's a term thrown around online and sort of belittles what it is but the EPU call it an early miscarriage.

RHR and it's correlation to ovulation / pregnancy / miscarriages almost certainly hasn't been properly researched. Women desperate to conceive will rely on it but it will vary so much that no doctor is going to rely on it. My RHR increases if I don't exercise. It increases if I do exercise. It increases if I drink. It just isn't a reliable source. You've got enough going on at the moment without having to worry about your RHR.

SS123456 · 05/01/2021 13:21

@kirinm @MrsB2019x @whambam89 thank you for talking sense ladies, I needed that! I think some of my worry is that the progesterone I am on would keep me feeling pregnant (sickness, sore boobs etc) but as you say apart from the rhr I have no other reason just yet to doubt anything has changed. Once I have my sons covid result back and I know when our isolation will end I'll book a scan somewhere else as at least then I have an either way answer and not a set of what ifs. Even if it's bad news at least I then know for sure and I can move forward🤞🏻

OP posts:
SS123456 · 05/01/2021 13:21

@MrsB2019x oh no I hope you feel better! I am finding that it's worse if I allow myself to feel hungry

OP posts:
kirinm · 05/01/2021 13:34

@whambam89 have you had a covid test?
