I had my implant out on the 19th of nov. With the hope to conceive. I have had no period and will be 3 weeks on Thursday, I have done pregnancy tests which are negative. Just wondering a) when should I expect my first period after implant removal?
When the soonest I can get a positive test after intercourse?

Hello

I had my period almost exactly three weeks after my implant was removed.
The when to take a test question is slightly more challenging to answer as technically you should wait until period is due (14 days after ovulation) but some people get positives from 5 days before it is due.
Are you tracking ovulation with OPKs or temperature?

After stopping any hormonal contraception it can t ale up to a year for 'normality' to resume (whatever that looks like for you individually). For many people, their cycles will return to normal much faster than that though.

@HipHipHooray7 I haven’t been taking my temp or using OPKs just because this is the first month of trying. I was expecting a period buy now, which is the only reason why I thought I may have already conceived. I really wasn’t expecting it to happen this quickly if I am. Like @physicskate said I knew/thought it may take up to a year or so..

I have a fit bit and that tracks my cycle. But as I was on implant I only got a period every 3 month or so, so my cycle may be different now. According to it my fertility week started yday and I should be ovulating tomorrow.

You can track ovulation using Fitbit by looking at your rhr. It works a bit like temping. You expect a rise in rhr after ovulation. Like all tracking methods, it's not foolproof, but might give you a general idea.

Then whenever you ovulate, most people get their period about two weeks later (give or take). If pregnant, you obvs would get that period. But late ov = late period.
