BFP not sure what to do now?

Hi everyone. After a week of terrible skin and crying over not falling I've got a BFP this morning! I'm CD 25 not sure about DPO as think ovulation was earlier than expected this cycle. Not really sure what to do now as have been TTC my first. I've got a Clear Blue digital and a non digital Clear Blue (BFP was on a Tesco one) but as I'm CD 25 not sure if I need to wait for FMU tomorrow? Which seems like an impossible ask! The line on the Tesco one was quite dark I think?

It shouldn't matter what time of day it is, you should still get a BFP. The clear blue non digitals aren't great as they often have evaps so I'd test with the digital xx

OK, thank you! I will use the digital as soon as I need to go again!xx

Early on in your pregnancy be cautious about the different thresholds each test has - if they are different types or brands dont let them worry you if they look fainter ! The best idea is to get a bunch of the exact same type to track progression

I just don't know what to do with myself!!! Thanks for the warning on that. Am nervous to do another one incase it's negative but then again how can I not?! 🤷‍♀️

@MAS50 Congratulations. Once you're convinced of your test result the next step, if you're in the UK, is to self refer to your local community midwife unit. If you can't find the phone number online then you can call your local GP and ask for it as they should have the phone number.

There's no rush to self refer though. Your booking appointment will normally be scheduled for when you're around 8 weeks pregnant. Right now at CD25 you're 3.5 weeks pregnant.

Congratulations again!

@Curiosity101 thank you! I've done the digital one now and it's confirmed! Can't quite believe it! Thanks so much for the info, haven't got a clue what to do and it's so hard not being able to tell anyone at the moment. Have booked the afternoon off work as I can't concentrate on anything 🤣

Also if you keep testing remember you'd only expect the lines to darken every few days, and most cheapies have a point after which they just cant get any darker!

If you’re only cycle day 25 the digital might not show a positive yet as they’re not particularly sensitive.

Missed your last post, ignore me😂

Congratulations Flowers

Thanks everyone! I'm going to try not to keep testing (maybe one more on Monday 🤣) as know I'll talk myself into all kinds of worrying. Don't have any symptoms other than the bad skin and crying yesterday so hopefully others will come along soon and they'll give me comfort that everything is progressing as it should! Xx

Congratulations OP! Most symptoms start around about 6 weeks and you will wish you never wanted them 😁 xx

MAS50 · 27/11/2020 10:23

@ShalomToYouJackie thank you!! Haha I'll enjoy the lack of symptoms as long as I can then xx
