Hi!
I had an emergency section 3 years ago which lead to my uterus being torn and repaired.
I wanted to start ttc last year and had a MMC in March, since March been TTC ever since and this month had possibly a chemical ( I had definite lines on two different preg tests but after the time I should of looked )
Now AF is here 😔
My question is, has anyone struggled to conceive since having a previous section? X

You should ask an expert but in my Ivf experience I can't see why the damage to your womb should effect conception ? Carrying a baby if the damage was bad maybe , possibly I don't know

I agree with pp, I doubt the C section is a problem. How old are you OP? Eight months of TTC is very normal - hopefully it will happen for you soon.

Thanks girls.
I have a appointment soon so hopefully something will be done.
I have just been reading recently about scaring of the uterus being an issue but I don’t know if I’m just reading into things too much, I’m just worried it’s not going to happen as it was so easy with DS.

I had Asherman's in the past, as a result of surgical management of a miscarriage. It took me several surgeries to have the adhesions removed and that DID affect my fertility, as embryos can't stuck on adhesions or damaged lining. C-sections can also result in adhesions.
I would ask to be referred to a consultant for a professional opinion (and a hysteroscopy) if you have doubts.
However, as others have said it's normal that it takes a bit longer to conceive and also the vast majorities of c-sections don't arm your womb.

Thanks that’s helps! Hopefully this ultrasound will show something or even better there isn’t any damage causing this to happen
