Can anyone help me work this out...I've ovulated early?

CD11 to CD16 - Clear circle
CD 17 - Static smiley
CD 20 to CD31 Flashing smiley

New cycle

CD 1 - AF & (still) Flashing smiley
Didn't test the rest of AF. AF ended CD5. DTD on CD 4&5 as AF was very light.

CD 8 - Static smiley

Help me figure this out? Have I caught the right time?!

Thanks!

@Poppy4363 hi lovely.

Ok so with the clear blue dual hormone OPK, the O is low fertility, the flashing smiley indicate a rise in oestrogen. And a static confirms your LH rising and you’d be due to ovulate in 12-24 hours. (You can then stop testing)

What’s the reason you tested whilst having AF? What’s your usual cycle? I think our hormones can be different when on AF. Depending on your cycle length, you should start testing at a different time. X

You shouldn't be testing during AF and you should stop after you've had your static smiley.

The tests work on changes in hormones. The first test you use acts as a baseline reading to compare to. If you are testing at the wrong time (ie during AF) you're messing up the initial reading.

Not to mention they are expensive and you're wasting sticks! If you want to keep tracking your cycles further maybe try looking into BBT to confirm ovulation.

When you get a static it means your likely to ovulate in the next 12-48 hours so you need to defo dtd the day of your static and the day after to hopefully catch it xx
