Hello everyone,

Thanks for having me!

I am hoping there may be some people here who can give me advise! I have a 3 year old and last year me and my OH spoke about having another baby so we have been trying, but no luck yet. Recently I had a scare for cervical cancer (thankfully all was ok) and while I had my examination they discovered my right ovary was polycystic. I have no symptoms of PCSO, my periods are regular every 28 days etc. My ovary wasn’t polycystic before I gave birth in 2016?

So my questions are:
can polycystic ovaries just happen?

Is falling pregnant difficult?
What can I do to try and help getting pregnant naturally if this is the problem?

Im sure I have loads more questions but that’s all I can think of for now!

I’d appreciate any advice x

Hi do you have PCOS you have to have two of the three following symptoms 1. Irregular cycles, 2. high androgen hormone levels and 3. cysts on your ovaries. You can ask your doctor to do the hormone tests to see and get some more advice from them. Good luck! Also if you aren’t already it’s really helpful to do ovulation tests and track your temperature to pin point ovulation so you know when to have sex!

Hey I had blood tests last Friday just waiting on the results on those. My periods come every 28 days without fail.

The gynaecologist didn’t seem bothered about the polycystic ovary she saw on the scan as I fell pregnant before. But I didn’t have the polycystic ovary before (hope that makes sense)

I’ve never used ovulation sticks, do you have any advice on which ones are best?

X
