Hi all,

Feel very sorry for myself today. Me and my husband are TTC for our first baby.

I’ve been using the clear blue ovulation sticks since August and in all that time I’ve had ONE day of smiley face. That’s it. :(

Does that mean I’m having my periods and just not ovulating? Has anyone else had this and if so, what did you do?

I’m beginning to worry that maybe there’s a fertility problem? Or maybe it’s the sticks? I don’t know!

Maybe I should track body temperature... I honestly have no clue and feel I have nobody to talk to about it as nobody knows I’m trying and a couple of my cousins have just got pregnant “without even trying” which only adds to my concern :(

Sorry to be a debby-downer! Just need some help xx

Yeah just get easy at home! Mega cheap and usually come with some free pregnancy tests too. :)

And yes! You need to test in the afternoon! Morning ones aren’t accurate. Test the same time every day, usually at about 2pm. When you look like you’re getting close to ovulation I do two a day, at about 2pm and 7pm x

Clearblue you are supposed to test in the morning but the cheapie sticks are afternoon so you've not being doing it wrong, don't worry.

I used them for a month and never got a positive, but when I spoke to GP she said to avoid them as they just add unnecessary stress (and disappointment).
