Hi ladies,
I’m new to this but I’m looking for a little bit of advice.
I feel so stupid but I'm probably overthinking it but..

(Not sure if it posted last time.. if it has I'm sorry!)

I’ve been on the implant just over but had it taken on on last Thursday the 24th because my periods have been so messed up. I can be on for a full month then be off 3 days then on again for another 2 weeks then off 2 days then back on.. etc. Anyway, had implant out, started the pill the same day, I had been off a couple of days before having implant out so me and my boyfriend had sex, over the two days something like, Monday & Tuesday then had implant out Thursday & started pill... one thing lead to another Saturday & Sunday night had sex again.

Because of my messed up periods and not sure when my next one is due or when I ovulate but could I still get pregnant?

Please don’t be horrible, I’m new to the pill I’m currently, feeling sick & headache but I’m taking that to be the pill & my body getting used to it, I have been pregnant before and a 5 year old so I obviously know symptoms don't start now!
Please please any advice.
Thanks.
B.

I think you're fine, if you started the pill the same day you had the implant out there will be overlap with the hormones and you should be covered. If your periods were irregular it may take a few months for them become regular again. You shouldn't be ovulating if you're on the pill Smile

The pill can take a few months to get going properly, but you may have leftover hormones from implant (not sure how that one works) that cover you.

Hi, thanks for replying. I've only been on the mini pill for about 5 days & she did say I should be okay (the nurse) but it takes 7days for pill to work to cover me.

Thanks, I know I'm so confused. Blush

Hello dont worry.
Not the answer you want to hear but when i came off my implantant and went on the pill i was adviced to use other contraception for a week to guarentee we wouldn't risk conceiving.
HOWEVER as somebody who is actively trying to conceive id say the chances of you having to worry are absolutely miniscule, like on in a million, so i really wouldnt worry too much Smile
