Should I be worried?

Hi all,

I fell pregnant with DC's within 4-5 months of trying at age 26 and 28. I'm now 31 and haven't used any contraception for 21 months. While we've only been trying properly since April (tracking OV etc) , a lot of people are shocked I've gone so long without contraception, and not fallen pregnant!
I had an ultrasound and bloods for a separate reason, and they said fertility wise everything looked normal.

They've asked if I want to be referred - I wondered if anyone can advise of any investigations they would do other than the above? Is there much else that might not have been picked up already? Especially as I already have 2 DC, not too long ago. Or do I just need more patience?! I feel like I'd rather just wait and see what happened but equally don't want to cause myself problems later down the line.

TIA x

Have you been regularly having sex every 2-3 days for the last 21 months? This is what the doctors ask for it to be classed as actively TTC. If so they'll probably do some bloods and a semen sample to check. It could just be taking you longer this time. I think its just luck of draw in a lot of cases whether you get pregnant quickly or not if no issues. Took me 14 months took my friend 1 and all my tests were normal x

Sorry missed that you had bloods already. They'll do an internal scan to check womb lining fibroids etc and a HSG to check tubes are clear. Bear in mind though as you already have 2 kids any treatment would need to be self funded x
