Hi everyone! I got a static smiley on CD12, so if I ovulated the day after that I would now be 5dpo. I am so impatient to test already but going to do my best to hold out until 11dpo. Hope everyone is doing well, excited to see when this thread gets it’s first BFP xxx

RichmondLady1981 · 18/09/2020 13:22

@Charm23 thanks for your lovely message. Yes I did have a bleed with my son. I was on honeymoon and we were out cycling. I told my husband that he’s have no action that night as AF was here and next day it stopped. I wasn’t temping or tracking or anything so didn’t know what was going on. Tested 5 days later and was pregnant!!! Funny isn’t it. So yes I’ve had it before. Lots of people things IB is a myth but I can only vouch for my own experience.

@Jellybum2019 exactly same as me. 16 month little boy who definitely needs a sibling! 🤣

Gem176 · 18/09/2020 13:37

I’m new to all this and I’m not even sure this is the right thread 🙈 I’m around 18 dpo and AF is 3 days late. First time actively trying to conceive as last time was a happy accident. Is this too early to test? Hugely apprehensive about this as I’m desperate for a positive and a little scared to test as it could be negative.

Kollywobble · 18/09/2020 13:47

@Gem176 I'd definitely be testing at 18dpo and with AF being 3 days late. I'm 10dpo today and it's taking all my willpower not to use my FRERs!

Gem176 · 18/09/2020 13:51

@kollywobble really stupid question but what are FRERs? I can guess most but stumped on this one 😂

Kollywobble · 18/09/2020 14:02

@Gem176, sorry it stands for First Response Early Result. It's a very sensitive brand of pregnancy test that can give results 6 days before AF is due. I've been feeling very nauseous since yesterday but with my first child I didn't see a positive until 13dpo so trying to wait a few more days. Do you think you're going to test soon?

Gem176 · 18/09/2020 14:17

@kollywobble going out to buy one before school pick up, this is first month trying so I’m not organised in the slightest 🙈😂 and I’ll do my best to wait until tomorrow morning to take it! However I might just cross my legs until I’m bursting and test later tonight... I say night but this is most likely!

Gem176 · 18/09/2020 14:17

*might not night

Flowerkm · 18/09/2020 14:18

Hey everyone :) just joining in, AF due 24th Sept and 8DPO. First month TTC and 3 months off the pill.

Want to wait until 13DPO to test but may do one Sunday which will be 10DPO with a FRER.

Nice to see others who are due to test the same time as me :)

Jellybum2019 · 18/09/2020 15:02

@Gem176 I certainly would be testing if I were you! Fingers crossed for you! Smile

Kollywobble · 18/09/2020 15:07

@Gem176 Ha ha! Good luck. Let us know how you get on.

MrsKey2020 · 18/09/2020 18:38

Let us know how you get on @Gem176 ! Fingers crossed for you x

lepnee · 18/09/2020 19:13

Good luck @Gem176, I've got my fingers crossed for you!! X

Optimist2020 · 18/09/2020 20:14

Fingers crossed for you @Gem176, hope you get a BFP 😊😊

1992EM · 18/09/2020 21:00

Af due 26th and around 5dpo. Too early for any symptoms for me. I am on cycle 5 of ttc. Hope you all get your BFP soon x

Charm23 · 19/09/2020 00:35

@RichmondLady1981 Aww that's so lovely that your son was conceived on your honeymoon! My daughter was conceived on holiday in Croatia last year! I had a small bleed and told DH that AF had arrived but then it stopped. I didn't mention anything to him because I wasn't sure what was going on plus we were busy travelling back home and picking up our new puppy. Then a few days later AF hadn't shown so I secretly took a test and got my BFP! When I told DH I was pregnant he was SO confused because last thing I had said was that AF was here. He was like "But how!? You said you were on your period!?" Haha!
This vv small bleed I've had recently is bugging me. It was pink streaks, barely anything really but enough to notice and then nothing. Today there were brown streaks and then again nothing. So weird. It's either implantation bleeding (I can't bring myself to believe it!) or my cycle is just being weird. Prior to my daughter being born my cycle was regular but pregnancy/breastfeeding could have messed it up. All I can do is wait I suppose. I'm not even sure when I should try to test. AF is due 25th so I've got a while to wait I think. How are things going for you?

RichmondLady1981 · 19/09/2020 10:23

@Charm23

That’s so funny, I’m not surprised your husband was confused! Ha! Such a love story though. I crept downstairs on last day of honeymoon and did a test and BAM BFP! Called him down and we could hardly believe it. So happy.

So this time I had light bleed on dpo10 and now 13dpo and nothing yet. Keep feeling a little cramp and then think I’m having AF but then nothing. I had a big temp drop test morning but temp has gone up again a bit today so who knows. I’m 13dpo. One app says I should have had period today and other says Monday so I’m going to wait till Monday and see. I had a mmc in June so my cycles aren’t exactly how they used to be keeping and open mind. 💕

I think because we have both had implantation bleeds before followed by BFP it’s hard not to he r hopes up. Keep me posted how you’re going. X

Charm23 · 19/09/2020 11:06

@RichmondLady1981 I get what you mean - part of me is thinking this is similar to when I got my bfp but I know the odds so trying not to get my hopes up. In the mean time I'll just try and distract myself with other things for the next week (easily done with an 8 month old!). I have my fingers crossed for you! Keep us updated xx

Lauren1707 · 19/09/2020 12:19

Just been to boots to stock up on tests! First month ttc so I am trying not to get my hopes up but I have been cramping up a lot since about 3/4 dpo. I do suffer from period cramps but this feels different and started a lot earlier. I'm trying to stop symptom spotting but can't help myself. With my first pregnancy I don't recall having implantation bleeding, is it common not to have it?

MrsKey2020 · 19/09/2020 16:40

@Lauren1707 I never had implantation bleeding with my little girl! X

Jellybum2019 · 20/09/2020 15:50

How is everyone doing?

I’ve had random cramps and a bad stomach (sorry tmi!) pretty much every other day for the last week! Blush

RichmondLady1981 · 20/09/2020 16:27

I’m feeling a bit rubbish as AF is being a witch and in full force. When are you due @Jellybum2019 and will you test?

Have you tested yet @Gem176? You’re keeping us all in suspense? 😁

Optimist2020 · 20/09/2020 16:41

Hey @Jellybum2019 cramping is a good sign for a BFP. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏾 When will you test ?

Jellybum2019 · 20/09/2020 17:26

If my dates are right, I am about 8dpo so I’ll try and wait until Friday this week, af is due on the Sunday according to the app! This is my first month tracking so I’m too sure how accurate it is but that’s what I’m going off!

@RichmondLady1981 oh bless you! Sad

Kollywobble · 20/09/2020 18:25

Hi everyone, despite feeling queasy on days 9&10dpo I've been fine ever since. My temps dipped a little yesterday (still above coverline) but went back up again this morning, though I suspect that's more to do with the fact we put the winter duvet back on the bed last night rather than anything else 😂 I'll be 13dpo tomorrow so will take a test but fully expect a negative as I don't feel pregnant at all (though equally don't seem to be having any symptoms of AF).

@RichmondLady1981 sorry to hear that AF has arrived ☹️

@Gem176, any news?
