What's going on?!

I'm hoping someone will have advice for me... I may or may not be trying to conceive soon but either way I wanted to test my ovulation to get an accurate picture of my cycle which I've already been tracking via an app for a long time. I started doing tests morning and evening a couple of days after my period ended but never got so much as a faint positive - all were definitely negative. App says i should have ovulated 4 days ago so I figure after this mornings negative I'll stop testing now until next month. So I'm wondering did I just not ovulate?! Also I am now cycle day 15 and have light bleeding which is unusual (period supposedly due in 11 days). So I'm wondering if this is anything to worry about. Any advice greatly appreciated!

You may need to test multiple times per day so that you don't miss your surge. Before I fell pregnant I would usually have my +opk any time between cd17 and cd22 so perhaps you still have a few more days to go.

Are your periods normally regular? If not then you may just be ovulating later this month. I wouldn't say you're out for this month. As a PP has said, you may need to test several times a day. You'll get to know eventually roughly what day you're likely to ovulate, so won't 'waste' too many tests in the long run.

The apps make a general prediction from the info you feed it, so don't take what it says as gospel.

Any bleeding outside of your normal period window should be looked in to. Perhaps see your GP if you get another episode of it.

Good to know thank you. I'll keep testing for a few days then.
