Irregular periods - when to see doctor?

I conceived my first baby 2 years ago with no problems very shortly after stopping the pill. I then decided not to go back on the pill and to let me body have the chance to regulate as we knew we wanted to try again. I did get pregnant earlier this year but sadly had a late miscarriage 5 months in.

Prior to the second pregnancy my cycles had been all over the place last year. This was the pattern - 34, 46, 61, 41, 31, 29, 30, 43.
After my late miscarriage in June I've had two periods - the first 6 weeks after delivery and currently having one after a cycle of 41 days.

Basically just want to know if this is normal - or should I be getting seen by someone? The cycles are so irregular it's really hard to know when I'm ovulating. Could I have pcos or something?

@Alicia870 I would make an appointment with your doc as it's been going on for a while.
I have the same after coming off the depo and the pill and left it a while. Thankfully they ruled out PCOS and other things. I'm waiting on another scan to check if it could be endometriosis but at this point I'm.not having too much pain.
Rather embarrassingly when I did have a lot of pain and nausea, I was referred for an emergency scan and they found a tampon stick inside me which was stuck out of sight and had been there for around 5 months 🙈🤮
Still irregular but less pain now!
Hope things helps xx

Oh gosh glad to hear your pain has settled. I don't have painful periods which is a blessing but it's just the irregularity of them. I'm just afraid they will say well you got pregnant earlier in the year so it's fine. But I'm aware of time moving on, age going up and the fact that something must be going on to be so irregular.
