Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to see if anyone was starting their 2WW?

I had positive OPK's Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning and BD'd a lot!

Also does anyone wear a fit bit and noticed a different with their heart rate during the 2WW? Xx

@Ashleighz88 you sound similar to me. I'm 31 TTC #1 for 16 months now. Was on the pill for 15 years almost so had some crazy cycle lengths. Up to 56 days. Now tends to be around 30-33 days. I usually use cheap ov sticks and all my apps predict ov around Cd20 however this month I used CB digital for the first time and got a static on CD14 and mild cramps CD15 which was a surprise. AF would be due around 20th sept onwards. Won't get my hopes up though as too many disappointments when AF arrives after 16 months of her ever annoying arrival 🤣 luck and baby dust to you all ✨✨✨

Ashleighz88 · 09/09/2020 21:35

@Unicornsparklez yes you sound exactly the same as me! My longest cycle was 48 days 😭 but for nearly the past year they have always been around 30-33 days. My periods are only around 1.5-2days and very light although I've been told this isn't an issue. Have you had any tests done? We've had all of them and everything seems fine, we've got our second fertility appointment in a few weeks time. I am still hoping it will happen 🤞🏻 I do temping and clear blue advanced opks, currently 1dpo and af due around 22nd so we're not far apart. It's heartbreaking going through this every months 😢 xxx

Unicornsparklez · 09/09/2020 21:41

@Ashleighz88 I've had a bunch of bloods done. First I was told I had slightly high prolactin levels which is something in the brain I believe then another test said my levels were normal. Had external and internal ultrasound which was normal. Had my rubella status checked on another blood test as apparently even if you have been vaccinated if your antibodies are low it can impact fertility and you would need another vaccination. OH had sample analysis a couple of months ago which was mostly ok. The only one was his morphology they said was borderline being too low so we've been trying to make healthy changes & lots of vitamins and supplements - anything we have read can improve the morphology. Now we have been advised we will be referred to the specialist as all tests so far were through GP. If I'd have realised how tricky it is to get a BFP I'd have probably came off the pill sooner haha. I agree though it's mentally draining after so many months of disappointment. I hope you have a lucky month!! ☺️

Ashleighz88 · 09/09/2020 21:48

@Unicornsparklez how odd! My dh sperm results all came back way above average except Morphology at 1%! The Gp said this made no difference given how high the other measures were (count etc). However I did bring this up in the first referral appointment at the clinic and the doctor told him to cut drinking, stop hot baths, stop wearing tight boxers, and told him to take L-Cartinine, coq10 and vitamin C vitamins. He seemed to think it wasn't too much of an issue but it might take us longer to conceive. We have had to do all repeat tests ahead of the second appointment so will see if the morphology improves after making the above changes. It does make me wonder if this is an issue the fact your dh also has a low morphology and you've been trying for a similar amount of time.

Unicornsparklez · 09/09/2020 21:57

@Ashleighz88 how mad we both having almost identical issues. My OH was 4% and it's meant to be between 4 and 14% apparently so we was borderline being too low. The GP said everything else was good but low morphology can result in longer fertility journey as they will have less perfect formed swimmers to successfully fertilise. He's been taking vitamin D, vit C, fertility supplements with Coenzyme10.. ive even been making him take folic acid with me as I read online it can improve morphology. He's also cut back on caffeine, energy drinks etc and I'm forcing more veg on him as reluctant as he is about that part haha. We haven't had any more tests though so not sure if it's improved his %. He was quite upset when we got the results as we had always assumed that there was an issue with myself with my irregular cycles etc but they haven't been able to detect anything with myself that would impact my fertility. We shall have to keep each other updated if we have similar stages in being referred as to what we may expect! ☺️

Ashleighz88 · 09/09/2020 22:02

@Unicornsparklez yes I will keep you updated on what I find out at my fertility appointments, it's really weird as different doctors seem to have different views on how important morphology is, my friends dh had 4% and she conceived after 14 months! So 4% can't be that bad. I am hoping DHs will have improved from 1% however I'm not pregnant yet so who knows! When you have your first referral appointment they will ask you to repeat all tests I bet like us.

Tipptopgirl · 10/09/2020 07:44

@JazzyJade is this baby #1 your trying for?

Ok so really got my hopes up 🤦‍♀️ woke up and moving out of the bed and walking I felt quite sick! Still do lying down again but I looked back at last months notes and I felt sick in the morning a day last month too around this time 🤦‍♀️
Only other thing is iv still got a headache 🤞
Really trying not to test its way too early!! Gonna see how I feel when I wake tomorrow 🤞

dogmam · 10/09/2020 09:39

3dpo here and no symptoms but obviously really early days! I'm suite good and don't test until after AF due as don't want the dissapointment of seeing a bfn but just wish this next week would hurry up!

Does anyone track their RHR? I have a garmin which tracks but I don't really know much about RHR when trying to conceive?

JazzyJade · 10/09/2020 12:21

@Tipptopgirl yeah this is baby #1!
I’ve been of the pill for around a year, but only now are we starting to track and monitor things so I’m still learning so much!

Hey @dogmam Im curious about that too! But dont know much either.

Tipptopgirl · 10/09/2020 13:53

@JazzyJade best of luck!
Btw im originally from the north east of UK! But now in southern Ireland.

@dogmam what is RHR? Never heard of that

Xx

Tipptopgirl · 10/09/2020 13:55

@BigLucy how r u today? X

dogmam · 10/09/2020 14:05

@tipptopgirl @jazzyjade hi, apparently tracking your resting heart rate is a thing (something else to be obsessed with)! Apparently your RHR increases around ovulation and then if it continues increasing during the luetuel phase, it might be a sign you're pregnant. I'm not exactly sure how it works but could be interesting.. or like I say, something else to obsess over!!

@jazzyjade I'm also from the NE of England 😁

Hope everyone's ok and not going crazy during there's slow slow days! X

JazzyJade · 10/09/2020 14:16

@Tipptopgirl thank you! And you too ☺️
Can’t wait to move back to n.i 😂

@dogmam never thought to look at that, might have a look from next cycle 🧐
I’m slowly getting there, been having really mild cramping today.. but so mild i wouldnt even say it’s cramping? It comes and goes too, so not sure if it’s just in my head!

somanystars · 10/09/2020 18:43

Hi again everyone, hope you're all well! 3DPO now and really not enjoying this TWW business 😂

Anyone ever had sore boobs this early?? I do usually get sore nipples after ov but not general breast tenderness until closer to AF, but I've got it now 🤔 Also verrrry moodswing-y and tired.

I know it's technically too early etc etc. But can't help wondering!

Tipptopgirl · 10/09/2020 18:58

@dogmam oooh thats interesting but yes I would totally get obsessed with that !
Even OPKs make me obsess 🤣

Iv had a pulling or stretching feeling in my lower abdomen or inner hip area!? I honestly dont remember this much cramps other cycles BUT AF could be playing a cruel prank on me. Im anywhere from 6dpo-8dpo 🤷‍♀️ iv also had a very mild in the background kinda headache... CM going thicker creamy TMI ALERT 🤣🤣

JazzyJade · 10/09/2020 19:34

@somanystars im not enjoying it either 😂 promised I wouldnt google things but i cant help but wonder if this cold (i wouldnt even call it a cold just extremely tired and nose is so stuffy) is a thing? Google says some women experience it but it's not a certainty 😂 I literally got it overnight but then again it's coming into autumn 😂🙉

@Tipptopgirl I've been feeling that too! I can't explain it fully 😂 but i always try and think of something else like maybe i need the loo? 😂 but I don't.
Fingers crossed for you those could be something!!

somanystars · 10/09/2020 19:38

@JazzyJade Yeah I did the exact same thing, in fact I think it was earlier on this thread I said I'd be refraining from Google but I definitely haven't 😂

I think that can be something! How many DPO are you?

dogmam · 10/09/2020 19:45

@Tipptopgirl I know, I'm totally obsessed with opks! I used my last one yesterday (even though I've already ovulated I'm still testing) then to my relief the postman delivered my order early so I'm stocked up and testing again. Hopefully won't need them though as this is the lucky month! So when are you gonna test then?! When is AF due?

@somanystars same dpo! My boobs are a bit sore too, but only if I touch them, usually they are killing closer to AF even just walking down the stairs. When is AF due? Mine's not until next weekend. I'm quite good, and unlike the constant opk testing, I won't do a pg test until AF is late do maybe the Monday or Tuesday.

@jazzyjade hopefully your cramping is a good sign! I know what you mean about not knowing if they are just in your head or not though!

What cycle are you all on? I'm 29, ttc baby number one x

somanystars · 10/09/2020 19:53

@dogmam Yeah mine get really sore before AF but I've noticed them hurting today when my arms brush the sides of them - and they're not exactly huge, so normally I don't notice them at all when I'm going about my day whereas now I am because they're sore 😅 It started like yesterday evening but I wasn't totally sure if I was imagining it until it continued this morning and it's a little sorer tonight.

AF is due in a week, I have a pretty short LP 🤦🏻‍♀️ and I know I'll probably be testing from about 8DPO as I just can't help myself 😬

I'm 25, cycle 2 TTC #1 😊

Tipptopgirl · 10/09/2020 20:31

@dogmam so im due on anywhere between 7-9 days, my LP is about 11-13 days so il try hold off testing till im due day 39 .. the 17th eeekkk 🤞🤞🤞
When are you due on? And when will you test, the day of or the day its late? (I see your good at waiting! Super woman 😜) very exciting baby #1!!

@somanystars best of luck for baby #1 too!! Very exciting time.

JazzyJade · 10/09/2020 20:34

@somanystars I'm 5/6 dpo! No way can I wait until the 20th 😂

I'm 25 and this is my first cycle, however I've been off the pill for a year but haven't been really "trying" until now! TTC #1 😊

BigLucy · 10/09/2020 21:09

@Ashleighz88 yea took ages! My husbands sperm was graded a 2 then we spent 6 months getting fit eating right and it happened but that may of been a coincidence xxx

OP posts:
BigLucy · 10/09/2020 21:17

For the ladies talking about morphology my husband was rated 2 and they suggested to us because 'time' was not on our side that we go for IVf. We were going to book the consultation in the November if we hadn't Allen as by this point was around 2.5 years but in the March I had an eptopic but even though I lost my right tube we fell again end of July! We did uo the exercise and get super fit once we were told though.
My cousins partner was also 2 percent and they took 4 years to conceive. Someone else I know was rated a 2 and they went straight for IVf and fell first month. It's a minefield!! Xxxx

OP posts:
BigLucy · 10/09/2020 21:18

@somanystars my friends boobs hurt on the side every thing she has conceived. It's the first sign for her! Xxx

OP posts:
somanystars · 10/09/2020 21:47

@Tipptopgirl Thank you, you too! 😊 Looks like we're due around the same time as well.

@JazzyJade Yeah I should technically be waiting a full week at least but no way that's happening haha. Good that you don't have to worry that the pill is still affecting your cycles though! I had the implant for two years and then took the pill for a couple of months before we decided to TTC, wish I'd thought to come off everything sooner as I'm pretty sure this is why my LP is quite short (or I think so anyway).

@BigLucy Oh that's really exciting! I have to admit I'm sort of starting to let myself get like "could this be it?" as it's so unusual for me at this stage ... but then equally I'm trying to calm myself down and remember that I'm only 3DPO 🤣 xx
