@candycrush2298 No second line at all. Not even faint. Ah well I'll just keep doing these until the end of the week.

candycrush2298 · 09/09/2020 14:23

@Elakiya bollocks, aww well, lets see what it does the rest of this week.

@Elakiya ugh, do you have an old pic to compare it to last cycle at 6dpo?

OP posts:
Elakiya · 09/09/2020 15:00

@candycrush2298 I think it was pretty much the same. But its way too early to expect anything. I'll just wait until Monday and then let you know.

@PinkRoseFlower Gutted that you think you're out. Still a chance of being PG as AF hasn't turned up yet.

I'm really gutted to be leaving my 20's early next year too. Having said that 30's are going to be our best years with our kids :) so always that to look forward to :)

candycrush2298 · 09/09/2020 15:16

@Elakiya ugh, OK well lets just wait and see what happens, it is far too early to see anything hahahaha. Agree wait until Monday and we see what happens.

bleh, this leaving 20s business is a really tough pill to swallow.... just depressing LOL.

OP posts:
Elakiya · 09/09/2020 15:21

@candycrush2298 Definitely but I'd say as soon as you pass 25 you've kind of lost your youth anyway lol :P. People settling down more getting married/having kids and then that kind of continues into 30's and then you're 40's/50's your busy helping your kids grow up and settle down and then 60's you retire and tour the world :D

NamechangeTTC · 09/09/2020 15:34

I’m 5dpo, and 32 but not counting since I turned 32 in lockdown!

Feeling nothing compared to last cycle.

candycrush2298 · 09/09/2020 15:35

@Elakiya LOL sounds like you have your years planned out hahah but that is the general order of things. I know after 25 things do just seem to change. I was touring and working in America at 25 /26 years old and it feels like a lifetime ago LOL

OP posts:
Elakiya · 09/09/2020 15:39

@candycrush2298 hahaha, yh it does. Do you think I'll be able to fit my 4 kids in :P I kind of need to be pregnant by next year to still be on track for that :(

candycrush2298 · 09/09/2020 15:39

@NamechangeTTC hahahah you got that right, it doesn't count as the world wasn't moving during lockdown! I love it.
Many have said that the cycle they feel no 'symptoms' is the cycle they conceive soooooo lets hope that is the case for you.

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 09/09/2020 15:42

@Elakiya yeah I think you can manage to get 4 kids in, it can work. Might need a pair of twins but even if you don't definitely could have 4 kids by what 36? that is a fair amount of time to be pregnant 4 times LOL.

OP posts:
Elakiya · 09/09/2020 15:53

@candycrush2298 As much as my mum wants grandkids I think she'll be annoyed if I leave 4 kids at home to look after all by herself lol. But I've even planned out how to make it work.

Work let me start at 10pm if I want to, so I can drop the kids off at school whilst my mum looks after the non school ones and then my dad can pick them up because he's home by lunchtime and I might be able to convince him to go part time. Mum will retire obviously (that's her plan, she really wants me to have kids so she can retire lol).

I am so blessed to have so much help. I wish I could just damn reproduce lol!

candycrush2298 · 09/09/2020 16:02

@Elakiya oh wow I am super jealous that is going to be amazing!! I wish I had that kind of help. Daycare it is for us. I just don't know how we will make it work but one way or another we will. I want kiddies lol.

Elakiya · 09/09/2020 16:17

@candycrush2298 My parents live with us btw (it's a south asian thing lol) and I find that helps a lot.

candycrush2298 · 09/09/2020 16:20

@Elakiya I can understand that would definitely help a lot!! My mother in law would live us if she could - thank goodness she cannot hahah

OP posts:
Elakiya · 09/09/2020 16:55

@candycrush2298 hahaha ... At work they're so confused by it they always say "OMG I'd hate to live with my parents/my in laws" and then they'd go "You must just have nice parents then... maybe everyone should move in with your parents"

Are you going to start using your Ava bracelet straight away? Technically thats cheating :P You're going to know your pregnant through BBT without even testing hahaha

Elakiya · 09/09/2020 16:59

@candycrush2298 I just asked hubby if I can have an Ava bracelet Blush at first he thought it was jewellery and said we need to go to a jewellers can't just order it online Grin then when I explained what it was ... he just laughed in my face Sad

candycrush2298 · 09/09/2020 17:13

@Elakiya hahahah in South Africa where I lived Durban there is a massive Indian community as well as African and both cultures its very normal for parents to live with you so I do understand it because I grew up with with the culture you know.

Yes I used the Ava bracelet last night hahaha but it won't be enough temps before ovulation to actually see i have ovulated and you need like 18 high temps to indicate pregnancy which I would start AF way before then. If I get to CD28 and my temps are still high then I would have an idea yes that I am pg but I intend to test that day anyway so would know even if I wasn't using Ava but in a way I am cheating because when I see a rise in temps I know I have ovulated.

Awww bless that he thought it was jewelry and he probably didn't realise you really wanted one and laughed as he maybe thought you were joking dont think he meant to offend you xx

Elakiya · 09/09/2020 18:02

@candycrush2298 No he did that on purpose he thinks I am an obsessive freak. He also thinks I am addicted to mumsnet and doesn't like me using it.

So I've kind of upset him by telling him I have period pains so to cheer him up that implantation can range from 6 to 12 days after ovulation (based on a quick google search) and he started spouting out information about how reproduction in the female body works. I have to say I am quite impressed, I am pretty sure half my friends don't know much about reproduction as they seem to get pregnant instantly.

ReginaaPhalange · 09/09/2020 19:30

@candycrush2298 wow!!! That's an amazing gift xxx

candycrush2298 · 09/09/2020 19:40

@Elakiya hahahaha I am pretty sure all our husbands think we are obsessive freaks. As for mumsnet I am pretty sure there is something he is addicted to as well like Facebook or YouTube or a TV show or something lol just use that 😂😂

Awww you're just so sweet you try to cheer everyone up when they're down. He must also be really hoping you guys succeed if he is down over it that's so nice I love that💜💜💜
Wow thats amazing thats he knows a lot, you should be super proud of him!!! pretty sure my hubby has no freaken clue about anything whahahaha!! Sure he just knows there's a certain time to have sex to get pregnant and if it doesnt work you get your periods highly doubt he paid anymore attention but maybe he learnt something while researching the ava bracelet. Yeah like your friends my friends have no freaken clue, they don't even know what an opk is and they have kids.

@ReginaaPhalange aww thanks hun💜💜
