This is only my first official month of tcc with tracking this time and using opks
( been off pill for years but only last few months have decided to go down testing route )

Anyway Holland and Barrett suggested a multi vit with folic acid which was half the price of pregnacare and she said it's the same just paying for the name anyway I've run out so went to Tesco and they said I shouldn't be taking omega 3 as I had that along side my vits so I've now got a Tesco own pregnancy vit which has vits and folic acid but surely omega 3 is ok?

Thanks

I used pregnacare conception for my first two rounds of (failed) IVF but have now switched to Proceive which is pricey but seems to be pretty comprehensive.

Beware, both of them turn your wee bright yellow!

@Youngatheart00 I just begrudge paying anything pricey when there are ones that do the same thing? I used pregnacare for my first for 18 months and this tike I just want to try not to stress ( easier said than done!)

Oh do they? The Holland and Barrett ones ? I hadn't noticed

Not the H&B ones, the two I mentioned above.

My doctor told me that really eating a balanced and healthy diet plus folic acid is enough, but I like the reassurance of a vitamin which I take with a meal.

Agree they can be expensive but I try and get them on 3 for 2 at Boots and that way at least I also collect points.

Unsure on the Omega 3 I’m afraid.

As long as there are no fish liver oils then omega 3 should be fine to take. The important ones are folic acid and vitamin D and that's all nhs advises you to take
