10dpo... anyone with me?

I'm 10dpo and so eager to take a test as I know you can get a positive. I'm trying to hold off another couple of days..

I've had lots is symptoms, nausea, cramping, headaches but could just be my mind playing tricks with me.

Does anyone else feel similar? It would be great to hear how others are doing

Start of ovulation week for me.. don't feel very positive about this month though, not really sure why...

10dpo according to my app & bfn this morning
I had spotting 5dpo & then just been crampy but I'm not testing again now until Sunday/Monday

Hi guys been reading through your posts from the start of this thread. Hopefully I’m okay to join.
This month was my first month TTC. Although don’t know if it can actually be classed as a first attempt or not lol. I had my implant out on the 23rd September. After having this for 6 years. No periods in this time. I started the combined pill a day after implant removal, took this for 12 days (long story to why I started the pill) - I then had horrendous side effects and stopped taking it. So been off hormonal contraception since the 5th October. I had a bleed 5 days later which lasted 5 days (I’m assuming this was a withdrawal bleed). I’ve had nothing since. Had regular unprotected sex this month. Sooo... I have no idea about my periods or even ovulation dates so abit useless in that sense. And aware that my chances are slim this month because I probably haven’t even ovulated.

I’ve learnt a lot just reading all of your posts on here. Looking forward to seeing you all get your BFP soon. Xxx

I've heard you can be quite fertile after coming off birth control. Hopefully this is the case for you 🥰

Tbf until I started looking into ttc I didn't even realise about ovulation ect I was on the pill from 15 & then went on the implant then back on the pill so never had any periods for all that time.

Are you ttc your first? ☺️

@rosiej95 Aw I hope so but my eyes have been well and truly opened into the world of TTC and how difficult it can be, so trying to be realistic in all of this.

Similar for me actually, I think I went on the pill from the age of 16/17 and was on this for 5 year and then had the implant for 5.5 in total I think. So it’s been a good ten years of my body being on hormonal contraception. Ideally I was going to get my implant out and that would be it, but me and my partner were in the middle of buying a house and it fell through and was a stressful time so I thought it wasn’t ideal to come off everything all together hence starting the pill but then I was horrendous on the pill this time around so just thought it was time to come off it all. And the time does feel right.

I haven’t had periods in all of this time either. So that’s why I’m unsure whether I would of ovulated this month and rang bleed was probably a withdrawal from the hormones. Xxx

it's deffo an eye opener! & literally one of the most emotional draining things but cannot wait to get a bfp to make it all worth it 😂
It's so nice tho being able to chat to others in the same situation.
We haven't told anyone we are ttc & there's only so much I can chew my boyfriends ear off about it 🙈

@rosiej95 thanks! I was gutted at the time but were in the process of getting another one just waiting for all the solicitor things to go through.

Ano it is nice to be able to talk to people. I haven’t told anyone about trying so nobody to talk to about it. My boyfriend is very laid back about it all and just says it will happen when it happens. Typical male response.

Have you had regular periods since coming off your contraception? And did you have a withdrawal bleed at first? Xx

@rosiej95 tww is the worst, really not looking forward to mine 🙈 spotting could be a good sign couldn't it.. I really hope it's a BFP!! Still loads of time yet. Have you had any other symptoms?

Yeah tracking but just not feeling it this month at all. I've been so fed up with this lockdown! I'm on day 2 ovulation week and not dtd yet, I need to get a move on 🤣

End of ovulation week for me. I managed to dtd twice within my 24 hours when my sticks were positive so fingers crossed I've covered it this month 🙌🏻

I've got to the point now where I don't even think about getting a BFP I just assume I won't. I straight away start thinking about ovulation week next cycle and when it is. I think it would be a big shock if I did now 🤣

@jennaxc AF showed up yesturday I'm pretty gutted this time 😩
But it's a new month...

Im still so torn about weather to use an ovulation kit. I don't know weather to just give it one more month without or weather to just use them.

Haha i know I think the amount of pregnancy tests we go through as well it's just easier then getting your hopes up 😩

@rosiej95 I'm sorry 😔 onto next cycle though. It's honestly shocked me how long this all takes. You spend your whole life worrying about getting pregnant and nobody talks about this side of things.. fingers crossed it's our month this time!

With the ovulation kits I think it depends on how often you dtd generally. It's really helped us because of my bfs cfs so been able to concentrate on a certain time. If you're dtd often you're probably covering it anyway. My app was wrong about my ovulation date, it's 1-2 days later. Could be worth trying just to see how accurate your app is..

I'm quite lucky we get to dtd quite often.
Even more so this month cause I'm off work for 4 weeks 🙈
Might give it one more month of trying to dtd as much as possible & then go from there.

Yes it's quite frustrating tbf. I don't think it helps because it's all I've wanted for the past couple of years it took my BF a little while to feel the same.

I'd love it to happen before Xmas tho 🥰

Hi I am 10 dpo today and bfn yesterday but got these today. You prob won’t see anything 🤣. I know these are not valid as the cb has always shown vvfl even when I have not been pg and the Superdrug was well after 1 hour. Could see a shadow straight away. Hate this ttc malarkey

So I did a strip today today (10dpo) and I'm pretty sure I see a line, I then did a frer and am pretty sure I can see a line. Then did a digi clear blue and says not pregnant 🙈 going crazy over here!! Don't want to tell my bf unless I'm sure so I'm telling you guys 🤣

So from what I've seen digitals don't pick up straight away, so don't panic to much.
Are you going to test tomorrow with a FRER tomorrow? 😊

Not getting ahead of myself though and don't want to tell my bf unless I'm sure, really don't want to get his hopes up.

Yes If it was me I would do a FRER rather then a digi, from what I've read there not as sensitive.

@rosiej95 I did another FRER this morning and it's definitely getting darker.. I think this could be it 😨 I can't quite believe it yet, going to keep testing over the next few days.

I'm going to tell my partner this morning as I can't keep it in any longer 🙈
