Hello so I decided to download a app to help with my opks. It is saying I peaked on 11th. Yesterday I starting have cramps on my right side. I'm thinking they are ovulation cramps. So from what you can see, have I ovulated and now just have to wait?
Sorry I'm so new to opks.
Thanks

Yes that sounds right.
Those results are very faint but could just be the tests. Did you notice anything else - any EWCM?

Mrshand123 · 15/08/2020 12:49

I think it was the batch, they seemed to be very faint.
Nothing else really. It's my first proper cycle from coming off the mini pill at the start of July x

@Mrshand123 hard to tell because you've also changed brands after a few of the tests (they all show up in different strengths). The one where it says peak did the test like look darker than the control line? I would keep testing with your OPKs and DTD every other day just in case. I wouldn't be 100% sure that you have ovulated based on it being CD9 and the strength of the OPKs (totally possible that you have though). Xx

Also try doing your OPKs at about 12/4/8pm most people get their peaks in the late afternoon or evening xx

I think I got it wrong. I've been doing opks everyday like you said to do and this one happened. My app is saying its high, but looks brighter in my opinion. So would you say I peak today?

The last few days I've also had cramps, feeling hot and tender breasts x

I'd say today's one is a peak! It's def stronger than the control line :)

The app measures things relatively. So it measures the test line relative to the control line. So it thinks that the test line on CD9 was darker than this one relative to it's control line.

However as a human being reading your results I'd be confident this one is the positive one. You're also on CD17 which is a much more common day to get a positive. If you ovulate CD18 and have a 12-14 day luteal phase then you'll be due on CD30-32 which is a pretty normal cycle length.

If you'd ovulated CD10 and have a 12-14 day luteal phase then you'd be due on CD22-24 which is a very short cycle length.

Good luck!
