Best OPK’s for a newbie

Hi everyone! I’ve been TTC for 2 years, no luck! Haven’t tried OPK’s yet as have been told they are not very good for PCOS but OH and I are finding it very difficult to DTD every other day through my 35 day long cycle! (Exhausting plus it’s clearly not working!)

I am wanting to give OPK’s a go! Anyone have any advice about what are the best kits especially for PCOS and just some general advice about how I should get started? I’m on day 1 of my cycle today so am hoping to get a kit in time for the end of AF :)

Thanks in advance!

I think I just got a pack of cheap ones off eBay. Testing early afternoon is best if you can, I only tested once a day but did sometimes miss the surge. Once you've got a dark line, you'll ovulate one the next 24-48 hours. I prefer temping personally, it only tells you after you've ovulated, but it does mean that you can be more relaxed about dtd after you've seen the temperature rise!

I started using Femometer sticks, but recently switched to Easy@Home. Both bought on Amazon. Although the Femometer app looks nicer, I prefer the functionality of the Premom app and I think it reads the OPKs better! A box of 25 was about a fiver and free/fast delivery with Prime!
