@MrsB2019x back when we were TTC DD1 and I wasn't as much of a crazy person we had a wedding the Saturday before AF was due on the Tuesday.... It didn't even cross my mind to test (maybe stupid of me), anyway.. I tested on the Tuesday and got a really strong positive, if I'd tested on the Saturday I'm almost certain I'd have got a good line. I drank a couple of bottles of wine and did a lot of shots 🤦🏻‍♀️ DD was fine and I had a pretty straight forward pregnancy. Saying that though, I'd probably test if I was in the same position this time, or maybe be a bit more sensible with the amount I'm drinking 😂

So I’ve been getting loads of ewcm this week app says not due to ovulate until next fri. Been testing every day since my period ended got a really good strong opk last night! Took a clear blue one this morn and got a static smiley!! So going by that my peak should be either tonight or tomorrow 😆 I’m glad I tested because if I just went off my app I probably would of missed my ovulation.
Dtd fridsy but DH couldn’t finish ☹️ So not sure whether to try again tonight or tomorrow? Xx

@stickytoffeepud1991 I was in the same situation this month! Got my peak a day earlier than expecting and hadn't had chance to DTD that week before I got it so didn't know whether to DTD the day of the peak or the day after.. ended up doing the day of the peak and the day after predicted ovulation but I'm guessing it's probably not going to be enough... It's a tough decision to make!

@stickytoffeepud1991 what's the reading on your cheapy opk today? I'd be inclined to go by that! My peak reading this month was 1.65 on premom but last month it was 2.41 (although I wasn't actually going to test so could technically have got higher than the 1.65 the day before this month if I'd tested)

@whambam89 DH is now saying he doesn’t feel well and has a bad stomach so probably out for tonight. He did this last month around this time I’m sure he knows which is highly frustrating 😣

Some get a peak on Premom of 1.2 or 1.8 or higher

What does the higher peak number indicate please?

I got a peak last month of 1.2 last month (didn't get a peak on my cbfm last month) so does that mean the peak isn't strong and unlikely to get pregnant please?

@whatever1980 I'm assuming it just means a higher level of LH - if you're getting a peak then you should be ovulating (although only BBT can confirm this), I don't think it matters what the "mark" is - I got 2.41 last month but only 1.65 this month x

Yes we did but then last night he wouldnt as 'he doesn't see the point as his balls don't work' 😢

I keep trying to tell him they do, they just need help and it only takes one but it's like he's given up 😢😢

I didn't this month in the hope it might make him more comfortable but he guessed last night which is when he came out with the balls don't work line.

Morning girls. Managed to DTD at about 12 this morning 🥵 so hopefully that’ll be enough!
Need to do an opk later on to confirm if that was my peak as my app says it was haha.

Just feel so frustrated with his gp as the gp has basically put him off. He just keeps repeating 'gp said it wasn't going to happen without help'

Sorry your OH is feeling like this @claireb7rg I hope he starts to feel a bit better and realises the GP isn't necessarily right. It must be quite tough for him.

Not bad thanks, in the middle of the TWW, boobs are killing but that’s normal for me. Other than that feel pretty normal, AF due on Monday

I know I have very little control over it but I desperately want to be pregnant by Christmas. It kind of feels like a bit of a deadline to me even though I might be prepared to try for a few more months afterwards (I'm 43 in March). Both of my sort of SIL (we aren't married) are pregnant or just had their baby and although I know they have had difficulty getting pregnant and staying pregnant, I just feel like I can't be around them. My OH does not understand this feeling at all.

@kirinm I found it easy over ovulation time, couldn’t be tempted if I didn’t have the sticks in the house. I’m finding it a bit harder now I’m in the second week of the 2WW but I’m trying to hold out until at least the weekend.

I know what you mean by setting a sort of deadline, this is my final month that would mean I can have a baby before I’m 30. Always wanted at least one before I turned 30 but it’s not looking likely to happen ☹️ I understand the feeling of not wanting to be around people who are pregnant/with newborns. It is so, so hard.
