Don’t know why it’s turned it sideways 🙄

MrsB2019x · 12/09/2020 19:49

Also can’t even see it now the pic has been shrunk lol

whambam89 · 12/09/2020 21:04

@MrsB2019x if they're not very sensitive tests then you might not be out yet! How many cycles is it now since your ectopic? I'm wondering how much of an affect methotrexate has on TTC, maybe I'm just being impatient but I feel like I should be pregnant again by now!

MrsB2019x · 12/09/2020 22:17

@whambam89 This is cycle 4 since, but it took us 5 months trying before the ectopic which doesn’t fill me with much hope! Next month will mark a year of us trying. I think with any kind of loss it’s like dangling it in front of your face which makes you want it more. I’m a lot more like, desperate now than I was before the ectopic if I’m honest 😂 how many cycles has it been for you now?

whambam89 · 12/09/2020 22:22

Cycle 4 since we've been allowed to try again (had the methotrexate end of Feb so first cycle we could try again was June), due date was Oct 2nd and it just feels like we've been trying so much longer because of the 3 months we weren't allowed to try! Took us 3 months ish to fall pregnant with the ectopic so also coming up to year of trying (technically)... It's exhausting isn't it 😴

whambam89 · 12/09/2020 22:22

@MrsB2019x forgot to tag you in the post below... It's been a long day!

MrsB2019x · 12/09/2020 23:03

@whambam89 Aw you’re in the same boat as me then 😔 It does feel like those 3 months are completely robbed of you doesn’t it? Won’t lie, the third month we weren’t exactly careful 👀 Are you anxious for your due date coming? I’m dreading mine, ours should have been 11th December 😔

SS123456 · 13/09/2020 07:24

Everything is pointing to me being out this month (12th month running now 😩). I'm 12dpo with a BFN (period due tomorrow) and my BBT has dropped a bit this morning. I don't know how much longer I can do this for 😔

I'm there with you 😢 I'm.now 17dpo (I think) cd35 and temps have dropped again.

It's cruel 😢😢 this was cycle 13 so onto 14 I guess. Just hope our sub fertility referral comes quick

@claireb707 it's so horrible being in limbo isn't it 😔. Are you having tests done through the NHS? I don't think they'll assist us as I have a child already

Yes, partner had his post SA bloods done on Friday so the referral should be sent off as soon as his results come back early this week.

Really hope it's not too long to be seen as we really don't have age on our side. The max limit for NHS ivf is 42 and I'm 42 in july

@claireb707 🤞🏻 it doesn't take that long 😔

kirinm · 13/09/2020 08:07

CD12 and a negative OPK. Not really sure what's going on now as I would normally have ovulated by now. Kind of regretting being 'relaxed' as I've only got one OPK left and I really don't want to miss it!

SS123456 · 13/09/2020 08:15

@kirinm could you order some more on Amazon prime to come tomorrow?

kirinm · 13/09/2020 08:18

@SS123456 I think I might even though I promised myself I wouldn't 🙈. I don't mind my cycle being a bit longer so if I ovulate in a couple of days that's fine, I just don't like the idea of not knowing. I am n very good at taking a relaxed approach 😂

SS123456 · 13/09/2020 08:24

@kirinm 😂 I know the feeling!

I've just ordered my partner a home sperm test so hopefully we will have that next week. I did a blood test via medichecks a few months ago and all looked fine on my side so I want to see if we have an issue on the make side now

SS123456 · 13/09/2020 08:24

Male not make!

kirinm · 13/09/2020 08:32

@SS123456 do you have the funds to go private if you wouldn't be eligible for NHS help?

I think we are going to have to give ourselves an end date. I'm too old for ivf (and wouldn't be eligible) and I don't want to keep having repeat chemical pregnancies or endless months of disappointment. We haven't set a date yet but I think we need one.

SS123456 · 13/09/2020 08:59

@kirinm It is something I'm considering but my partner is super cautious about spending money unless completed needed and is keen to continue trying without the extra costs. I get where he is coming from but after a year of trying I do think we may need to seriously consider it as I am turning 37 next month and not getting any younger

SS123456 · 13/09/2020 09:00

@kirinm I appreciate it is completely easier said than done but could you maybe set an end date for recording/tracking anything cycle related (ovulation, period etc) and not then 'not be trying' but not preventing at the same time?

whambam89 · 13/09/2020 11:39

I caved didn't I... Can anyone see anything?? 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

@whambam89 I think I can see something, but I’m awful at them! Oh is the king, so I’ll ask him when I get home from work!

kirinm · 13/09/2020 12:12

@whambam87 I can't see anything on the inverted but I never can unless they're painfully obvious. But I can see something very very faint on the normal pic. How many DPO are you? Eeeee exciting!

kirinm · 13/09/2020 12:13

That should be @whambam89

kirinm · 13/09/2020 12:14

I bet if you played with the lighting a bit on that first pic, the line would be clearer.
