@MrsB2019x I'm feeling a lot better thanks. Still feel very tired but my liver function tests show an improvement and I don't have a temperature anymore (I basically had one for 3 weeks Sad) so all in all, feeling okay. Not sure what to do about ttc. The hospital said my immune system would've been suppressed by the chemical pregnant which gave the dormant viral infection the opportunity to attack so slightly terrified another chemical could result in me feeling awful for another month.

MrsB2019x · 31/08/2020 13:51

@kirinm Oh bless you, sounds so rough. Maybe take a month off to completely right yourself then you may be in a better frame of mind to start again. I don’t think you’ll ever stop worrying though, completely understandable!

@LT103 I have no idea what charts mean haha but this month seems to be crazy for all of us

stickytoffeepud1991 · 31/08/2020 23:08

Evening everyone,
Sorry I have been a bit MIA. Nothing exciting to report as I had AF last week. 5 days late ffs which means my cycle was 33 days.
We go on hol this Saturday - ovia says I’m due to ovulate at some point next week ?? Don’t know how we are going to bang dance when our 3 year old is ever present 😂. I hate the time between AF and Ovulation.. plus not taking any opks with me so will just have to hope for the best 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Massive congratulations @Sansa87 so happy for you. Got everything crossed for you!!

How is everyone else Doing any 2ww?? Xxx

MrsB2019x · 31/08/2020 23:14

@stickytoffeepud1991 Maybe not tracking will make you relax a bit more? I tried doing that this month, didn’t work 😂 hope you have a lovely holiday! I’m newly into 2WW, 1DPO today x

stickytoffeepud1991 · 31/08/2020 23:22

@MrsB2019x I’m hoping so but I know we will probably be able to do it maybe once/twice whilst over there in fertile window .. hoping for more otherwise husbands balls dragging on floor As they haven’t been emptied! 😂😂 thanks lovely I’m looking forward to it! Off work for 3 weeks!!

Eek exciting! Did you track or do anything this month?? Xx

Sansa87 · 01/09/2020 05:16

Feeing a bit bleh. On the all home from work yesterday had some slightly more painful cramps, and then some brown discharge last night.

Nothing on my knickers this morning, or when I wipe, but it’s like I’ve been punched in the uterus, but the first has stayed there... it the only way I can describe it.

Too scared to move atm, and feel a bit dead inside, which I know seems very dramatic.

Of course I told the boss we we were pregnant again only yesterday, so I’m also feeling a bit embarrassed If this one has turned into a chemical. 😢

kirinm · 01/09/2020 07:52

@Sansa87 brown discharge could very well be old blood from implantation that is working it's way out of your body. But having had multiple miscarriages, I know it's hard to believe anything positive will result when you've seen blood. With my DD who was two over the weekend, I bled heavily for 17 weeks - I was hospitalised twice due to the amount of blood lost - 2 pints. Spotting doesn't necessarily mean anything. Fingers crossed for you that there's no more.

Sansa87 · 01/09/2020 08:00

Thanks @kirinm

I have felt slightly sick since being at work, which I’m holding onto. I never knew I’d be so desperate to feel sick.

I’ve never known a successful pregnancy so my mind has automatically gone to bad stuff.

I hope you’re feeling a little better ❤️

LT103 · 01/09/2020 08:05

@Sansa87 I’ve never been pregnant so hard to advise you but I’ve heard lots of people saying they spotted in pregnancy so it could be absolutely normal. Good that there’s been no more! Thinking of you, hope it’s all ok.

MrsB2019x · 01/09/2020 08:14

@Sansa87 As the others have said I’m sure it’s okay, the pains are probably your uterus stretching. Can totally understand why you’re worried though, pregnancy after loss must be nervewracking x

@stickytoffeepud1991 I wasn’t going to because I’ve got so much going on with the house but ended up caving at CD14 and doing OPKs. I don’t bother doing BBT though because it mashes my head a bit 😂

Sansa87 · 01/09/2020 08:22

I’ve just text my midwife from my last pregnancy. Not sure if I’m allowed as such, as sure her offer was only to talk about that pregnancy, but hopefully she can advise.

The last time it happened the doctor said I was being a bit of a hypochondriac (in a funny way) but turned out I was right. Unfortunately that’s just made me think every worry I have must be right

kirinm · 01/09/2020 08:40

I suspect at this early stage the midwife won't be able to do much. Due to my history, the EPU agreed to scan me at 5w. They couldn't see much but I went back about 4 days later and they saw a heartbeat so maybe your midwife will facilitate that.

kirinm · 01/09/2020 08:45

As for me, no AF so I guess it's just a case of waiting it out. I had what felt like either ovulation pains or AF pains yesterday so I might do an ovulation test just to check. If I am ovulating, the chances of us DTD are slim to none!

whambam89 · 01/09/2020 12:23

@Sansa87 I had brown discharge and cramps with DD, I really panicked and they actually agreed to scan me at 5 weeks - all was fine (and she's now a healthy, very fiesty almost 3 year old!) Everything crossed for you! X

whambam89 · 01/09/2020 12:25

Day 8 of flashing smiley for me now... We've DTD every other day of flashing smileys so far but not sure how much longer I can persuade my OH to keep going 😂 cheapy OPKs have arrived this morning so will do one this PM and see if that gives any more insight!

whambam89 · 01/09/2020 12:43

So the premom app says this is "low" but I'd say it was pretty close to peak.. what do people think?

August might be pact might be madness part 2
kirinm · 01/09/2020 12:45

@whambam89 I'd say pretty close to peak too. Worth doing another tonight. Maybe you should try the standard clear blues (if you need them). I think the constant flashing smilies would do my head in a bit.

whambam89 · 01/09/2020 12:56

@kirinm I'll do another later! Now I know around about when I ovulate I think I'll stick to the cheapies in future. We DTD last night so hopefully if we do tomorrow too we'll be covered🤞

89Ann · 01/09/2020 13:37

Hi All, hope you are all well. @Sansa87 sorry to hear you are stressing, I can only imagine, fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy and baby for you. I haven’t been on here since friday, I spotted sat and sun so knew AF was on the way and she arrived yesterday. I have gotten myself in a real state this weekend which I know is ridiculous as it is month 3 but whether I like it or not this TTC malarky is having a massive impact on my mental health, I am thinking about it constantly every hour of the day. I am going to disappear from here as although you are all lovely it’s just another thing to keep TTC on the brain. I wish you all the luck on your journeys 😘

AKC88 · 01/09/2020 15:05

Hi everyone,

This is our first cycle TTC #3. Had the mirena coil removed 9th July. CD1 was 21st Aug and just started OPK's yesterday, I expect to ovulate Thurs or Fri.

It's so nice to see some of you getting your BFP's and hopefully we will all be there soon.

We are aiming for a summer baby so expecting a few practice cycles.

Smile
whambam89 · 01/09/2020 15:07

@89Ann good luck - hope you get your BFP soon x

LT103 · 01/09/2020 18:07

@Sansa87 how are things? Did you hear back from midwife?

@whambam89 When I get a line that dark my app always marks it as high. I think you’ll get your peak tonight or tomorrow! Good luck!!!

I’m maybe gonna test tomorrow. 9dpo and no spotting which is a record for me 🤣 think tomorrow will still be too early but I have a ton of cheap tests!!

whambam89 · 01/09/2020 18:11

@LT103 I don't know why it's marked it as low! I could have missed my peak to be honest but we will DTD again tomorrow night to be sure. I can't imagine I'll get a static on CB this month now.

@sansa87 hope you're ok x

Sansa87 · 01/09/2020 18:30

I didn’t hear back from midwife, guessing because it was last pregnancy.

Still feeling a lot of af like cramps. But nothing when I wipe. Haven’t had any more nausea since I got to work this morning. Not feeling very fatigued today, which weirdly sucks. The only other thing is my boobs are starting to tingle. Of course that could just mean af, but I did get a strong positive test. I don’t understand chemical pregnancies if that’s what it is.

kirinm · 01/09/2020 18:37

@Sansa87 I don't think you have any reason to start thinking it's a miscarriage. It is very early days and symptoms will not necessarily kick in so you feel them all day for a few weeks.

If you don't mind me asking, how many weeks were you when you lost your earlier pregnancy?
