Clear blue ovulation test confusion

Sorry I probably sound really stupid here.

I did one last night and again this morning - both came back with solid smiley faces. We dtd Sunday night, do we need to do it again tonight?

Does a solid smiley face mean you’re about to ovulate or you already have? Just wondering if it’ll be too late tonight.

@abitfunny I think it means you're about to, within the next 12-36 hours or something like that. I got mine yesterday morning and am going to DTD tonight as a sort of final shot at catching it. No idea if it'll be too late to be honest but might as well!

Did you read the instruction booklet?

I've not used Clear blue myself but I was under the impression once it showed a solid smiley it would show it for 48 hours.

Good luck 😊

Hey!

This is my first month TTC, I have read so many forums that state the first time you test you only will see a plain circle... I tested the first time and went straight to a PEAK smiley?!

Once that had disappeared I decided to test again to see how accurate they were, once it had disappeared after 48 hours.. I went back down to a plain circle.. and just for the hell of it I tested again 2 days later and had another PEAK..

Highly confused.. I only thought I’d test a couple of times as was unsure if the first time I tested it could have been faulty as it went straight to peak... we made sure we DTD as soon as the first peak popped up..

Has this happened to anyone else?!

All the best x
