Hello, dh and ds are playing minecraft to deestress for the evening so I thought I catch up, I know I said I’ll go off line but I am bored.
@Minster2012, little update, af seems to be on the way, not enough blood to call it a period, hardly anything on pad, but too much for spotting, I think, frustrating, if I don’t get a proper bleed I’ll test Tuesday just to see, symptoms haven’t changed much, and no cramps, so this is a new level of weird,
@lucyrp really hoping for a negative, with the weather turning lots of bugs are around, feel better, queen
I am calling today cd 1, but who knows really, new af due date 24 September, pencil in @Juno231, is it really stupid that I am hoping this is a first trimester bleed, even if I know it isn’t ?

@Hopeful110 thank you. I have everything crossed too😂 I don't feel any different to when I'm normally ill if not slightly better but I had a fever and have a cough so had to get a test for work.

@Vil10 I've said to my friends now that we're not trying anymore as we physically can't do anything. We're not not trying but we're not actively trying as I can't track with OPKs as I just get no difference in lines and I'd have to do it every day for like 2.5 months and we're not even having that much sex at the moment because I think OH feels like it's pointless at the moment which has kind of made us look our sex drive momentarily!

@LaceyMermaid I don’t know what to think, I’ve been wearing a pad all day, when probably a panty liner would do, and last toilet visit, nada, not even on paper, tomorrow I am walking all day around Stonehenge so will wear a pad, for peace of mind, but... can this be a period? I’ve had them pretty light before but seems quite a bit for spotting

@lucyrp fingers crossed for you, I had two tests 🙈 due to symptoms when we were in lockdown and I was working and they came back really quickly!

@LaceyMermaid, I’m freaking out because I’ve been spotting for about 24 hours, not all the times, but a couple of wipes quite heavy, very very very little on pad even overnight, a thin 2 inches line...

@lucyrp I’ve also had a test when I needed to go to hospital for test, as Covid symptoms are the same as asthma symptoms, and they wanted to know, very easy and very quick

@Franklydear @LaceyMermaid I did it myself and now worried I didn't do it correctly as I didn't tilt my head back to put it up my nose I just put it up as far as it could go which was like an inch which is what it said on the instructions 🤷🏼‍♀️🙈

Hope you've got lots of choc either way @Hopeful110, the not knowing 100% and having that glimmer of hope alongside the sinking feeling is horrible, that was me last week so sending you big hugs. If it makes you feel any better about obsessive testing, I did another one today even tho AF is here just incase it was one of those small percentage that still bleed while pregnant 🙈 it was negative as I knew it would be but I just had to double check. And finally threw all the bfp tests in the bin so I'd stop going back to look at them. Ttc journey makes you do crazy things 😂

@StrawberriCream keeping everything crossed for you, hope you get another test done soon and see that faint turn into a nice fat line.

I've actually had a lovely weekend with DH while DS is at his grans house. We went out for lunch and dinner, bought bikes and went for a cycle (OH new fitness idea definitely not mine 😂) hubby has been so attentive and supportive after the CP that I'm now raring to go and try again and FW isnt coming round soon enough.

@lucyrp I really wouldn’t worry about not going too far up, my youngest was admitted to hosptial in June and they did his for him and they barely even did up his nose - certainly not the to ramming i’d given mine when I did my own to try to follow the instructions!
@Franklydear sounds more like spotting to me if you’re only needing to wipe really

@Franklydear of course it's not crazy, you're talking to the woman who's done pregnancy tests on like CD3/4 before just in case it wasn't really a period 🤦‍♀️

@Juno231 yeah I know I was really nervous for it because I've heard the same but on the instructions it says to go an inch up your nostril or until you feel a resistance 🤷🏼‍♀️ which is what I did and it just made me sneeze and my eyes water so god knows

@LaceyMermaid im hoping I don't have it as I'm sure DS will not like having me stick a swab up his nose and he defo won't sit still for long enough 😂

Just a tiny catch up from me to send hugs mainly to those that need, @Franklydear totally understandable.i had that. It's still spotting, that's what I got told, if it's only there when wiping & not enough for a pad it's classed as spotting. Total head fuck & deserved of psycho tendencies. Stick with us gorgeous sending all the love.

Also to @lucyrp, you will have done it right & I hope it negative, but that you feel better. Again totally understandable the drop in sex drive for you and mr fucking fantastic when you both feel like your body is fucking with you. Maybe we need a naughty girls at the back thread where we actually don't bother with talking about TTC??

@Franklydear I've just had a 'period' before my bfp, it was similar to a period, started light got a little heavier then tailed off however the whole thing was also 95% lighter than my period and was only brown and pink if that makes sense. It lasted 7 days and I'm 5+1 today. I've got everything crossed for you!!!!

@LaceyMermaid I'm hoping it's negative otjetwise my worl will have to close for two weeks because I've been in contact with absolutely everyone in my work place and so has everyone else who works there. Someone else at work is being tested too as she has similar to me 😬🙈

@Minster2012 we did it today but it was just a quick bend over the bed job and didn't last very long as it had been like 5 days since we'd done it last 😂 love the docs! My friend bought my fur lined docs for my birthday 😍

@Juno231 for sake of giving a test date for the next thread I'm going to take a random guess and say sept 19th. That would be cd29 so if I get that far that seems a fair enough time to test 🤷‍♀️
