I poas at 14dpo bfn, but now 16dpo and still waiting for af, I keep feeling like it's started so go to the loo but just been very wet for a couple of days.

@notyetamumbuttrying wow I've never gone that long without POAS! I want that to be the goal this cycle though.
Funnily mine snagged at the bit of the nail closest to the finger and not at the end of the nail so I was doomed lol. Frustrating that the whole set needs to come off once one is buggered ha.

@Juno231 @notyetamumbuttrying how on earth do you lose nails that soon! Mine last me up to 4 weeks! They do chip but don't come off. If they're like thag then the nail tech isn't doing the correct prep work 🙈

Also AF due tomorrow but no sign but for me that's just a recipe for disaster because that could be me in for another long cycle 😭 but if I was in for a long cycle surely my bloods should have come back not normal for CD21?! Anyone ?

@lucyrp you would’ve thought they wouldn’t come back normal if you’re in for a long cycle but I’m not in Theo now with these things sorry. Can only say I feel your pain as a fellow messed up cycle person!

@lucyrp did you ask what your bloods came back at exactly? and that it confirms Ovulation?

@blodyn91 no I didn't the receptionist just said normal for all of them apart from full blood count which was satisfactory but I was going to ring and ask for the doctor to call me back and explain them

@LaceyMermaid I'm not looking forward to this cycle if I'm honest. I kind of would of liked my AF to arrive for once again this cycle actually on time to make sure I'm back to normal and now my lovely chilled weekend is over I'm trying my best to stay relaxed about it but its proving very difficult. Worst bit is if AF doesn't arrive tomorrow or this week I'm going to have to do a PG test to check that before resigning myself to the fact I've got another 1/4 of a year long cycle again.

@blodyn91 the soonest a doctor can speak to me about my bloods is Thursday morning 🙄

@lucyrp so frustrating for you, can you make an appointment to speak to dr about results and about how you can solve your long cycles maybe?

@lucyrp 🤣 anything’s worth a go! Someone should get into inventing a way to bring on ovulation and AF immediately - they’d be a very rich person!

@LaceyMermaid but then there's the other side thay I could have a bean burrowing ! Who knows 🤣 that's the awful bit about long cycles is if you don't get AF when you expect it you're like oooo I could be PG but then its just a long cycle 😫

@lucyrp I wouldn't base much on what the receptionist said - mine came back normal too but had I not chased the GP no one would have admitted that they didn't actually test progesterone on my day 21 blood test - they just reran all the stuff from day 3! Even in their snooty response they made it sound as if I was the one confused about what they were meant to have tested rather than admitting fault.

Do you get shellac done as well btw? I've never heard of shellac lasting 4 weeks!

@Juno231 the nurse said they were re running the same tests as they had done on CD73/1 and I asked if they would check ovulation etc and we discussed that we hoped they would say I had etc.
I've had gel polish and its pretty much the same thing as its gel mixed with normal polish so it should work the same?! Shellac definitely isn't supposed to chip. My last set would have lasted longer but I booked another appointment so I had to take my gel off before I had these nails.

@SarahTTC2020 that's a bit annoying! You had an LP that long before?

@lucyrp ooh 4 weeks is good! Mine are usually 3 but don't tend to snag unless they're long and get caught on things. My fault for not keeping them filed I think.
Don't know about your cycle conundrum, sounds potentially odd tho.

@Juno231 should defo last longer than that! I do my own and they last 2 weeks, when I get them done properly they last 4. Having said that though I do know some people’s don’t last as long - it’s to do with your natural oils in you nails I think!

@notyetamumbuttrying kudos to you, queen of not POAS! My cb ov stocks just arrived! Now to hold it. Got ANOTHER faint line on cheapie this morning for about 8th day now!

@notyetamumbuttrying no I've looked and longest was starting period in 15dpo... So maybe I just didn't ovulate this time. Might test again in the morning if AF doesn't show overnight

@lucyrp thats so frustrating! Have you taken a PG test at all?? Really hoping you get a normal cycle!!
I don't get why there is such a shortage of NHS staff and these sort of mix ups happen, I know so many of my friends applied to do medicine at uni and didn't get in and would have made class doctors, only because they got a B not an A in chemistry.

Obviously underfunding is to blame also*
