Af arrived for me yesterday like a proper bitch, hot flashes, sweaty, worst cramps ever, very heavy, but then by last night she'd fully calmed down and I feel fine this morning, can't wait to eat loads of food later though!! I fully expected a bad period after coming off those tablets but if my cycle is the same as it has been I should be ovulating around 29th/30th/31st, will probs start with opks around the 26th/27th, next af will be due on the 14th and I have 1 frer left but as I'm taking a more chilled approach this cycle and I'll be back at work by then too I'm going to try and just wait for af and not test!

Hi all - ttc cycle 3 for #1 - we tried in April and May with no luck then had to skip June and July because otherwise it'd clash with DH's sisters wedding! Recognise some names here from our lovely chatty may bus.

Welcome back @mrsemilyb ! How's your time off been - did you carry on tracking at all? Where in your cycle are you now?

@juno231 - time off has been nice! It's allowed me to relax, which we all know I have some trouble doing! I'm 12dpo now and I think I had a BFP this morning??? But I'm feeling really unhopeful because I've been spotting for 3 days and it's getting darker. Only spotting in the mornings though? When I've been lying down all night. Light cramping too. Not even sure if it's just an evap 😂😂

Guys I'm loosing the will to live, I'm either spotting for a long time before my period (I'm up to 5 days of spotting now) or this is my period and its a lot lighter and even than normal. I'm currently on cd 24 and it would be normal for me to be on my period now but I'm not as heavy as usual. I've attached my bbt too just because I'm not sure if that tells me anything? I know I need to wait it out but I just needed a rant

@busybee143 could be implantation spotting? Have u tested yet. If u would normally have af by now I'd test of I was u

@flofoo1 - yes it came up within about 2 mins. I've not been spotting at all other than as soon as I wake up 🤔 but I've got a strange crampy feeling

@MrsEmilyB that sounds really promising so! Blue tests have broken my heart before but never within the time frame! Might be worth buying a first response or something to try again tomorrow! Fingers crossed for you x

@flofoo1 - ahh I so hope so. I'm going to be devastated if not. However I've NEVER had a 12 day luteal phase before so here's hoping. I've found a pink dye FRER in the back of the cupboard so I'll use that before getting too excited. I've also got a digital but I don't want to waste it 😂😂 haven't told DH yet; don't want to get his hopes up in case this spotting is a chemical

@MrsEmilyB Oh wow looks like a positive to me! But yes definitely do the FRER to double check 🤞🏼🤞🏼 I got my BFP on 1st August and have had cramps most days so not always a bad sign!

@MrsEmilyB Thank you!! Still hasn't properly sunk in I don't think! TWW anxiety is nothing on the 8 week wait for the 12 week scan 😂

@Minster2012 - it's one v faint positive which I don't even fully believe yet, so I'm not counting my chickens 😂 I'll test again in the morning but fully expecting AF to slap me in the tits tomorrow. Quietly hoping I have a sticky bean in there though.
And honestly? I kept up with my seed cycling and vitamins, but most other stuff went out the window - I drank too much wine, ate pizza at the weekends and relaxed a bit which I think was the key! I try to eat a balanced diet but dropped the crazy macro counting etc. Where are you in your cycle??

@ltay2 I can't even imagine! I've already found somewhere nearby which could do a 6 week viability scan in a fortnight 😂😂😂

@MrsEmilyB Aww yay that's good! We are planning on booking a 9 week private scan which would be around the second week of September but don't want to book it just yet as it feels like tempting fate 🙈

Just read that a few of you have light periods, mine were getting lighter and lighter, used to be 6/7days before the pill, then withdrawal bleed was also 5 days long, they then reduced to about 2 days and not heavy at all and my LP was only 11days but it did not affect me in the end, so please don't think your bodies are broken 💙
