Hi guys

Have been TTC for 2 months now, my cycles are getting longer for some reason - around 30 since coming off the pill but last month was 35 and this month I'm now currently on day 39. Tested twice - once last night and once this morning but both negative. Pregnancy symptoms - nausea a couple of weeks ago for around a week, off my food and certain smells were making me gag. Also had spotting in the middle of my cycle. Had pains since around day 35 as if AF was coming but absolutely nothing since, pains have almost gone away completely now. Currently - sore breasts, needing to wee more often (wakes me in the night which has never happened before), lower back pain. Should I give it some more time and test again? Any help/advice would be massively appreciated Smile

No advice but I'm in a near identical position (currently on day 36 with no period in sight but also no bfp). Also recently come off the pill and have cramps / dizziness but no AF! Hope you're out of limbo soon- I'm just going to keep testing every 48 hours for as long as AF doesn't show. It's hard though, I work on a ward and have literally been told this morning that some of our patients have shingles so not to go on the ward if you are or might be pregnant... Not sure what to do! 😂

The first 3 months after coming off hormonal contraceptives can make your body do odd things. It takes that long for the follicle to mature, so annovulatory or otherwise odd cycles are pretty routine. Are you tracking your ovulation at all? Unless you know when you ovulated, you don't really know if you're "late", as your cycle is follicular phase of almost any length + luteal phase of around 12-14 days. When I had a random long cycle the GP advised testing once a week until AF or a BFP. Id also suggest reading Taking Charge of your Fertility, it has lots of useful information about cycles in it!

Eek that's scary, hoping you get your answer soon too! Keep me updated? I'm away this weekend so going to test again Friday morning is still no AF... then after the weekend if still ongoing. Making me get my hopes up so would just like to know one way or the other!

I actually came off the pill in January so quite some time ago now. I have tried tracking ovulation but no luck with testing strips or BBT, can only pinpoint using CM/cervix position/feel, so not exactly sure if I'm even ovulating to be honest Confused
