How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

@dinosaurus86 how are you feeling today? I hope you have a lovely time away and can switch off.
Is the 21 day bloods to check you have ovulated? I've heard something about 5 day and 21 day bloods, don't know much about either. Could you not get these through your normal GP rather than going private?
I cant stop thinking about ttc/is something wrong with me/will it ever happen etc. Don't know why I'm taking it so hard this month.

@1992EM could you possibly be ovulating later and that's what the cramps are?

@Annaposie how are you? Has AF arrived? It is a rough feeling, it's absolutely shit!

@littlebee1990 I'm sorry you didn't see what you wanted to on your test this morning, easier said but try not to look too much into it at this point, it may just take a few more days to change over, test again next week or maybe even test on a frer again and look at the line progression, you can get a better understanding by the colour rather than the digital. I'm sure all will be absolutely fine x

Thank you ladies, honestly wish I’d been taught about managing anxiety and fear in TTC rather than shown a video on a wheeled in TV in school about how I’d get pregnant at the first sight of a penis .. I’m not going to test anymore, 2 weeks until the early scan so telling myself it’s just a TWW and I’ve done plenty of them this year! X

Hi @Littlebee1990, I hope everything is ok. I don’t think it’s possible for those tests to give a totally accurate result so I would try not to worry too much for now. I realise that’s impossible though!

Yes that’s right @dogmam. On the podcast recommended on here a while back they said the day 21 was an important one to go for. I guess I could ask my GP but because I’m still under 35 I think I’d have to wait another six months to hit the year mark. It’s not super expensive to have done privately. It’s really just for confirmation for me, since the clearblue strongly suggests I am ovulating regularly. I am a bit concerned about DP’s sperm for various reasons but haven’t attempted to broach analysis with him yet... I will give it a couple more months. I’m away this week but have booked my first acupuncture session for the 28th! Am quite excited about it! I know people say just to relax but I feel less anxious if I can feel like I’m doing something to make a difference. I might also do the day 3 bloods (I understand you can actually do that anytime day 2-5) next month - too difficult to organise now this time!

Fingers crossed for you @1992EM! Perhaps it can be implantation - there are lots of things not fully understood.

@dogmam I've still be doing opks and they are negative so don't think its ovulation . I did have ovulation cramps last weekend though . The ones I had this morning have now gone. Probably just overthinking every twinge 😅🤣.

Torturing myself and took an FRER this morning at 8dpo lol. Negative. I think I'm testing so early because i'm worried I'll have another chemical & want to see the progression. Definitely holding off until 11dpo now. That's when I got a clear positive last time, and probably could've got one at 9 or 10 if I had tested that early. I think if it's negative on Tuesday then I'll definitely be out.

@kalecat I read around 84% of woman implant between 8 and 10 dpo and only 0.5 on 6 dpo. It could be you haven't implanted yet and once implanted it takes 2 days for enough hormone for early tests to detect. I would give it a few days as you say. Your not out until AF shows. I have everything crossed for you x

Hello ladies 🤍 how is everyone? I couldn't resist using a cheapie this morning lol. 9dpo, may be the start of something - who knows. Looks similar to the line I got at 10dpo before my CP. Going to use FRER in the morning and if negative I'm going to just wait for AF.

@kalecat I hope tomorrow's frer shows a second line 💕.

@kalecat if I wasn't in work I would be the same . My view is if I am pregnant I will find out when AF is due and be closer to when I can get a scan. if I am not then as least I have a few extra days of hope 🤣 that's what I keep telling myself anyway

@1992EM Decided not to use an FRER today. Just used a dollar store test. Looks like indent to me 🙄

I am tentatively re-starting TTC after my missed miscarriage at 12 weeks (I had a BFP in the June thread). I don't think I will have an early scan again by choice after seeing my baby at 6 then 9 weeks and seeing a heartbeat made it all so real and I was reassured by all the professionals after my ectopic admission at 6 weeks that after a HB going strong at 9 weeks it would be fine! I really hate the way they make it real with booking in appts, booking a home visit for after 12 weeks, and tests etc. Next time I will decline all of it until my 12 week scan as I wasn't having the thalassemia test anyway.

Littlebee congrats! I was on the thread before when you had a BFP then sadly a loss. Really want to reassure you that the midwife said to me about 20% women have no symptoms until 20 weeks and some have almost nothing throughout! So just because you don't feel pregnant doesn't mean those cells aren't turning into a baby that is going to come in May 2021! It is OK to be cautiously optimistic, but I know it is hard!

Ugh. Now that it's dried I see something 🙄 of course could be an evap line. I hate the uncertainty 😂

Had some pain and was sent for an early scan and I’m so worried. I’m measuring between 5.5-6 weeks (as expected) and they found a yolk sak and a baby however she told me that the heartbeat is lower than they’d like to see, could MC in next 2 weeks.. want me back for another scan in 2 weeks. I’m petrified 😩

@1992EM I'll attach the tests I took yesterday in the late afternoon. I'm going to take another ClearBlue after I do a 4 hour hold later today.
FRER was negative yesterday which doesn't make any sense considering it should be more sensitive than CB and dollar store. I've been seeing really bad reviews on FRER lately. The most recent batch is giving terrible indent lines and isn't as sensitive.
