Hi all,
I just need to talk this out and see if anyone else has experienced the same.
Lo is 11 weeks, stopped breastfeeding at 4 weeks - no sign of period yet so firstly wondering when they usually start?
Have had sex twice but obvs can’t tell when ovulating or if I even am yet. Last time was 2 weeks ago so I have been planning to test around now as absence of period won’t telp me anything right now. My thinking is, for me to have fallen pregnant I would have been ovulating around that time and so period due around now and therefore a test should pick something up? I know doesn’t account for the time sperm can live. Anyway, I tested with cheapo this morning and it was a very very very faint line. I did it again and nothing but on comparing the 2 can def see something on the first and so can hub. So I’ve done 2 more cheapos this Eve and again negative. Plan on doing clear blue in the morning as I know best time to test. Head is in a spin, I think I went above the max line so wondering if that could produce false positive.
Would be interested in anyone else’s experience of similar? We wasn’t planning on another so soon so I’m feeling it is what it is but can’t help wanting to know ASAP either way Grin
Tia

Might be a little early to detect with out FMU, maybe a test tomorrow morning will help clear things up for you

Are you having protected or unprotected sex?

Curiosity101 · 23/07/2020 19:55

For you to be pregnant then in theory you'd probably be anywhere from 9DPO to 14DPO.

If you were 9DPO and implanted late then you could definitely still be testing negative even if you're pregnant.

It's reasonably rare to get a false negative at 12DPO so if you test again in 3 days time you're likely to get a true result. Although there's no way of knowing whether that's likely to be positive or not.

Do you know what sensitivity the clearblue is? Or what type it is? They're not all the same sensitivity level.

Thank you for your responses.

@Curiosity101 I have no idea of the sensitivity, think it says from 5 days before.

Just feeling a little confused with the days so I guess only way to know for sure is to give it some more time as suggested.

I’m cramping and aching which could be af or if like last pg, implantation.

Thanks again x

Do you know what the type is / could you find it online and provide a link or picture?

There's 4 that I know of; early response, standard, digital pregnancy indicator and digital pregnancy with weeks indicator. But they all have different sensitivities.

Curiosity101 · 23/07/2020 20:24

I used the CB early response test for my pregnancy (not sure what DPO I was though). This was the difference between the first day I tested and 2 days to give you an idea of just how quickly the results could change if you do wait a couple of days.

Can't say I've been in a similar situation, but I there was a thread on here recently where the OP found out she was pregnant when her LO was about 14 weeks? I think it was called Warning Dickhead Alert. So it's entirely possible x
