I hope everyone doesn't mind but set up a new one as we have reached the limit!

@mm26 I am pretty certain it's AF although I've never ever had spotting like I did yesterday so it's so odd. I'm thinking about seeing the GP soon as I've been off contraception for 10 months and still nothing. I'm worrying now but maybe it's because it's such a disappointment after I thought I was having implantation bleed.

The only thing keeping me going is I've always had in my head I'll have a baby in April / May which would mean I would conceive next month or the month after! I guess if it's not happened in the next 2 cycles then I will go to the GP. Sorry I'm just thinking out loud lol

whambam89 · 19/07/2020 13:25

@boc86 @pabsypops sorry to hear you're both having a rubbish time this month! Hopefully next month will be our month ❤️

Boc86 · 19/07/2020 14:04

Thank you

Morning everyone! How is everyone today?

I have had a rollercoaster the past 18 (or so) hours! I got a FRER yesterday and tested and got the absolute faintest line (cautious YAY!). All good until I went to bed last night around midnight and wiped (tmi) strange dull pink-y colour that was also mixed with some slippy Cm, almost egg white I would say (though I'm no expert). Also, last night my RHR shot up from 63 to 66. I tested again with a FRER this morning around 9am and got nothing, there's maybe a line but I don't think there's colour - it's fainter than yesterday so hard to tell. There has been no more pink Cm/wiping yet this morning. I've added photos of the first FRER, my RHR chart and my temps. Just sitting here waiting patiently to see if it's AF showing up though I don't think she's due until Friday.

@mm26 that sounds promising! Keep us updated 🤞

Kristy17 · 21/07/2020 22:10

Hello, is anyone still here? I’ve been stalking the thread and it’s now gone quiet, finally made an account.

We’re TTC number 2, first cycle, had my copper coil removed just after AF. AF due Saturday and 10DPO today! Where are you all in your cycle?

BabyH88 · 21/07/2020 23:58

How does everyone get around the subject of alcohol? we are not wanting to tell family and friends we are trying but are both very sociable people and generally like to have a few glasses here and there but I feel it will be very obvious if I am not drinking. Any experience of this or advice on how to navigate away from the obvious conversations.

mm26 · 22/07/2020 08:26

Hi @Kristy17 and @BabyH88!

I think most of us have moved onto the August thread now? We had a spreadsheet on the original thread and I think I was one of the last testers. I'm out for July so have just moved over here this morning 👇🏻
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/3963049-august-might-be-a-pact-might-be-madness

@BabyH88 I have the opinion that a glass or two isn't going to be catastrophic so I just drank, but drank only one or two drinks slowly and had low alcohol stuff (I.e. no spirits or wine that's a high %). Obviously everyone is different and has their own opinion on it, so I'm not saying what I think is right and I've not been successfully TTC yet! I put ice/water in my wine to "chill" it or because I pretended to find the taste too strong, which watered it down.
If you don't want to drink then I usually go with driving or saying I've had headaches on and off and don't want to dehydrated myself with booze. If you can order your own drinks without others noticing, order soda water/lemonade and lime cordial- people just think it's G&T or vodka soda or something. I spent my late teens/early 20s not drinking due to family issues with alcohol so got good at hiding it so I didn't have to explain myself. Ive always felt it's so ridiculous that if you're not drinking people think there's something wrong with you and feel like it's there business to ask why!! 😂

mm26 · 22/07/2020 08:28

(To clarify, just on reading my post below, I wouldn't drink if I genuinely suspected I was pregnant or had had my BFP! 😂😅)

Kristy17 · 22/07/2020 09:14

Hi @mm26 and @BabyH88

@mm26 ahh that makes sense, AF isn’t due until the 25th here. So at the opposite end of the month! Good luck for next month 😊

@babyH88 regarding alcohol we’re only in our first month of trying and I’ve only been out once to a friends garden where people have had a drink. And I drove so it was easy not to drink. Quite a few of the people I see regularly with my daughter though know we’re TTC so even if I wasn’t with her they’re aware, so it’s a bit different here.

I’m kind of under the same impression though, it wouldn’t hurt to have the odd one before you get a BFP. Or could you pretend to drink it and then throw it when people aren’t looking? Not the greatest solution but I’ve heard of people to do that before

whambam89 · 22/07/2020 19:34

@babyH88 I'm not the biggest drinker but I have never / would probably never give up drinking before a BFP as I do enjoy a social drink on the odd occasion that I do get chance to go out. If you don't feel comfortable drinking while trying then I would just use some of the suggestions below x

GreysLove · 22/07/2020 21:26

Hi all, just wanted to share this...!!!

Got my bfp tonight! Just back from 3 days away camping which was a great distraction from my 2ww and no tests with me. Have felt mostly fine was actively not trying to symptom spot but looking back I have had kinda sore boobs/ itchy nipples (tmi?), my face has broken out a little which is unusual for me and needing to pee more often and more urgently...
Anyway got back after a long drive home and was desperate for a shower and remembered I had a test in a bathroom drawer, just an IC. Gave all the good ones to OH to hide! Anyway it was late in the day so really wasn't expecting anything as AF due tomorrow but just had a feeling and there it was. Praying it sticks after last month's chemical, will use my CB digital in a couple days but until then me and OH are cautiously excited!

@krj2608 your baby dust rubbed off and birthday and cycle buddies must have been lucky!!

Kristy17 · 22/07/2020 22:05

@GreysLove ahhh a huge congratulations!!! Fingers crossed for you! Look forward to seeing your digital in a couple of days 😊

BabyH88 · 22/07/2020 23:28

Thank you all for the advice, suppose I don't want to tell anyone we're TTC because it might jinx it. Will give all of your advice a go! It's our first month so keeping our fingers crossed.

So happy for everyone getting their BFPs ❤️

krj2608 · 23/07/2020 05:29

@GreysLove Spooky cycle and birthday twins!Congratulations! When will you be due roughly? Mines around 28th March which is my daughters birthday 😂

GreysLove · 23/07/2020 06:09

Thank you all! I barely slept a wink and giving up now, cant seem to switch my brain off!

@krj2608 mental eh?! Well going by CD1 +40w approx due 26 March! A little Spring bundle 😍 hope your first is looking forward to a special gift next year!

Going to do my digital tomorrow and give the local midwife centre a call once that confirms it lol, hut me last night that I've been focused and thinking about getting pregnant that I have no idea what to do now!!

Have you got your first app yet? Have you moved to any other preggo chats? How you been feeling?

Kristy17 · 23/07/2020 09:26

Well I have some news this morning ladies. As I’m a new account I apparently can’t share the image yet 😂 so you’ll have to wait until this evening for that but I’ve got my BFP, I can’t believe it 😃

krj2608 · 23/07/2020 11:01

@GreysLove I just recalculated mine and it's 25th March but I guess i could be then up until 31st March as a due date. I have joined the march 2020 on here. Not sure if there are any other groups. How are you feeling? The nausea is settling in, headaches are horrible and I'm so bloated this time around, this is number 3 for me and I'm struggling to hide the bloat at 5 weeks 🤣

@Kristy17 congratulations! How are you feeling?

OP posts:
Kristy17 · 23/07/2020 12:59

@krj2608 thank you! Oh goodness the nausea has started already? I’m feeling okay for now, it hasn’t sunk in yet. I’ve had minor stomach cramps every now and then and a bit of nausea but generally okay and still amazed haha. I’ll have to find the due in group. I’ll be due 31st March though I have a feeling it will get moved to early April following dating scan, as I’ve looked at calculators based on ovulation dates too.

Birnam · 23/07/2020 13:17

Guys, what do you think of this? I just took this right now and I'm apparently only 9DPO but around 6 days until AF is due. Eek!

The July Pact 2
Birnam · 23/07/2020 13:20

Sorry for a second post but I am just freaking out a bit as this is our first month TTC and I have literally no symptoms at all but the line is just getting darker.

The July Pact 2
krj2608 · 23/07/2020 14:08

@Birnam congratulations! That looks positive! I had my bfp at 8dpo x

Thank you @krj2608 I am a bit scared now that I will get over excited and it won't really happen, since I've tested so early. I haven't told my husband yet...i might wait for another week and do another test then tell him.

Birnam · 23/07/2020 15:46

Omg congratulations @krj2608 btw! I thought you were showing me an old test for some reason. Love that you are in the same boat as me. Have you done another test since 8DPO?

Kristy17 · 23/07/2020 16:27

Congratulations @Birnam that’s definitely a positive and very similar to what mine looked like at 10DPO!
