3dpo too early for implantation?

I ovulated on/around 28th June, we DTD on 28th, 29th and 30th.

Today I have had light cramping and pressure in my ovaries. I just went to the toilet and I have pink cm and a streak of blood. My stomach is also soo bloated.

Surely this can't be implantation? But AF isn't due for another two whole weeks!

Anyone experienced this?

Sorry to jump in. I could really do with some advice. I have pcos. Ttc 20 months. On day 3 of what I thought is my period but it's completely different to anything I've experienced! Hardly any blood, dark brown in colour. I've tested negative but could that be because hcg levels aren't high enough on day 3? I'm concerned because I was supposed to take my clomid tablet yesterday but don't want to risk it if this is a pregnancy. What do you think? Am I imagining things?

@Mrschips7 that is SO strange??? Omg!!! Are our boobs messing with us tonight?! Or are we actually gonna get Bfps soon😂

@EasterBunny7 hey there! No I'm sure you're not imagining things! The dark brownish blood sounds weird! As obviously as we know periods are fresh red blood! Any chance it could be implantation bleeding? Is it really light?

Thanks for your support! I can't figure out if it is implantation bleeding, I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative.

Almost certain AF has started today 😭

@EasterBunny7 Dark brown suggests old blood. Are you in any pain at all?

It could be implantation as @Libbyvmama suggested as that is typically brown/pink. You wouldn't get a positive test this early I don't think, best to give it a few days and try again. If you experience any pain however, I'd give your GP a call.

@Libbyvmama I really don't know what's going on. I've put a pad on so I can monitor bleeding, it's literally just been pinky stuff so far which is not normal AF for me (she usually comes thick n fast 😂) not sure if I'm being silly staying hopeful.

You're 11dpo right? Still v early for a positive. Hang in there, I've got a good feeling about yours!

@Mrschips07 don't lose hope yet! It could be af or it could be some more spotting! I've heard it can happen due to hormones etc early on! Keep us updated!

And they are cheapies tests :( and not Frers. But always such a bummer! Time will tell! I'm trying to be patient but I have none😂

I came on last night to check this but was too tired to reply! My boobs were so sore, they always get sore after ovulation but seemed worse and nipples extra sensitive! Also the past few days I’ve noticed every time I brush my teeth my gums are bleeding and I woke up this morning with my front teeth all blood. Ew!

Ah here for me too now so I’m gonna call and get booked in for day21 bloods and check everything is fine.

Still crossing fingers for some positive outcomes for you guys x

Hi there. No. No pain at all! I'm on day 4 of period/implantation bleeding and another negative pregnancy test .

Sounds like you may be going through something very similar with a unusual show and negative tests? I really hope this turns out to be good news for you .

I don't know whether it's a good thing that I am still hoping for a different test result tomorrow . This has definitely turned out to be one of my more anxiety filled cycles.

@EasterBunny7 I understand :( it's so stressful! But just remember some people don't get Bfps until days after their missed period! What I'm telling myself anyways.

Sounds pretty similar @EasterBunny7 although I did get faint line on a cheapie test, today tests are stark white. 🤞 You are having some implantation bleeding tho.

@LT103 sounds sensible. Please let us know how you get on. I hope you get a BFP really soon.

@Libbyvmama don't stress about the negative tests, like you say it really varies and some people don't get BFP for ages. Main thing is AF doesn't arrive! 🙌

@Mrschips07 this has made me a bit more wary of testing early. I didn’t get my hopes up Too much with my faint positive thankfully but it is disheartening to follow it up with a negative the next day when you have that little bit of excitement by then. Hoping we all get there soon x

So I’ve just realised that when I thought I was taking frer’s it was actually the fr rapid tests that you should take on the day of the missed period. Tested again this morning and it was positive again and a darker line. Now I’m worried that it’s maybe a chemical or something as should the rapid test have picked up hcg so early?

I found this thread that some of you might be interested in, its regarding HCG levels being picked up at certain dpos according to implantation.

@LT103 It is a gamble with early testing, definitely. In a way I think sometimes you are better not knowing until further along, or out of the chemical pregnancy zone at least. I'm impatient and impulsive and I only have myself to blame. It is nice to find comfort in others doing the same thing however.

@MrsF18 So you used the less sensitive FR test early on and got a line? Thats surely a good thing. Are you getting lines now?

WEIRDNESS here. Spotting has stopped. The pad I put in my pants is completely clean, nothing when I wipe.. all day. Is it silly I'm feeling hopeful? One thing I have had today tho is sharp pain behind my bellybutton, nothing like period pain.

@Mrschips7 that does sound promising!!!! How weird though!!! So much happening with our bodies right now.

• I'm okay thank you for asking. Been feeling a little sad :( something's telling me I'm not pregnant, I know I have symptoms but I just feel like it would be too good to be true! Hahaha. So a bit down in the dumps tonight! BUT! We keep pushing forward right!! I've had light cramping, boobs still veiny! Not much changing over here atm.

@Libbyvmama I know what you mean, I got all sad when I realised I was spotting. I didn't want to get up this morning, but since its stopped I feel all excited again. Got to keep positive until/ if you have reason not to! I have heard a lot of people say that after the initial fertilisation/implantation stage before the BFP they felt like it all dampened down a bit. Sending my positive vibes your way.

@Mrschips7 yeh! So I took the fr rapid result on Tuesday and got a line, and I took another today, the latest my period may start is tomorrow, and got a line again. But didn’t realise that they’re not the early tests. So yeh, I’m hoping a good thing! But I can’t help but think it’s too good to be true, I’m just anxious I guess! Also, it could just be that I’m not 100% sure when I ovulated, and my cycles haven’t been completely regular, a couple of days off here and there. But I’m just really worried about chemical pregnancies. But that’s good that the spotting has stopped! Mine was intermittent for 6 days so don’t lose hope just yet.

@Libbyvmama don’t lose hope just yet, this stage is really difficult when you don’t know either way. Just try to stay positive!
