Light periods pco

Has anyone suffered from light periods with PCO? I have PCO but not the syndrome, my periods never used to be this light but the last few months they are barely there, just lots of pain and spotting. Almost feels like the blood is "trapped" and the period takes ages to get going, then doesn't really happen.

I am seeing a gynae as have been TTC #2 for almost 2 years but he has kind of brushed off my concerns about this, which is frustrating!

If anyone has been through anything similar please help!

I'm the same! I was diagnosed with PCO not syndrome in Jan. Periods have been really light for years but I was on the pill so don't know if that made them light. They are only two days and second day is really light. The most that comes out is like clots but the surrounding blood is light. So strange. Been TTC for 10 months now and I also spot between 3 and 10dpo leading up to AF. Had a gynae phone appointment Mon but annoyingly the called an hour earlier than scheduled so I missed it 😭

Hopefully you can arrange another appointment, it's so frustrating not knowing what's going on isn't it! Maybe they will offer you some medication to help conceive, fingers crossed Smile

Just wanted to chime in and say I have the same periods as @Hllouise1702 and have been suspecting there's something else up such as pco. Only been trying properly for 6 cycles though but was planning on going to the GP in October when it will have been a year since I came off the pill.

I have seen quite a few ladies on MN though with super light periods carry on to have BFPs so hopefully it won't impact you too much?

Thanks for the replies back. Yes hopefully they can investigate a bit more. Going to the doctor in a few months to ask for some fertility tests. Good luck both of you 😊
