Hi guys,

For anyone taking the time to read this - thank you!

My cycles are always between 26-28ish days and I usually feel exactly when I ovulate. I'm ttc baby #2. I've been using cheap opks since CD6 (I'm currently cd16) and none of them have been the same colour as the other line. On CD13 I started using CB digital advanced, had an empty smiley 2days in a row and have had flashing smileys for the past 2 days. I've taken the test out of the reader and done a cheapy and they both look pretty dark to me? Does it look like ovulation will happen soon? Is there such thing as ovulating too late in the cycle to conceive? So many questions, sorrySad

Only symptoms I've noticed is slight cramping, slight increased sex drive and slight increase cm. we've dtd every day since CD6.

Thanks again x

If they have gone dark then you’re likely close. I suggest testing twice a day so you don’t miss the peak - sometimes it’s only a very short period of time (a few hours). However even if you miss it if you’ve been DTD every day you have good chances.
I have cycles between 30-34 days usually and I ovulate between day 18-21 so it could definitely still be coming!

Thank you @LuckyFlash ! I have been testing twice a day, it's getting really expensiveGrin I'll attach my latest tests below. Thanks for your replySmile

@kate123cl that’s what mine usually look like a day or two before ovulation. You can buy cheap opk’s on eBay (about £5 for 50) which helps with the expense.

Also just to note the LH surge detected by the opk just shows you that your body is preparing to ovulate, not that it actually will. I track my temperature as well as that shows you when you have ovulated. Using those two methods means I know when is about to happen and then ensures I know it definitely did happen - a sustained increase in temperature is a definite sign you have ovulated
