Hi all! Just wondering if you know anything about RHR and ovulation? I’ve just been trying to pinpoint when I ovulated as I’ve had a faint positive but unsure on dates as I’ve not been tracking. Appreciate any advice and help. Thank you

Hi! I hope you don't mind me replying, I have no answers but I am also interested in the ovulation/RHR connection! Me and my husband are wanting to start trying in the next few months so it would be good to know for future! I hope you are well.. very exciting time! xx

Hi @GG2707 I didn’t realise it was connected until I came across it whilst having a good search. It’s quite interesting. Hopefully we get some advice from others who have experience with it. Good luck with your TTC journey ☺️

Mine was defo correlated the month I got pregnant with this pregnancy, my pattern was a rapid drop of rhr the day of ovulation followed by a steady incline up which would happen every month, pregnant or not, i then got a steep decline in the day I think I could have implanted and then it steadily rose up again and went higher than what it has ever been and this is why I thought I was pregnant. Rhr will always rise after ovulation but will drop a few says before af is due and then it ally be back to your cover line during af but if it continues to rise you could be pregnant, it's progesterone that makes it rise Smile xx

that bit are the end was meant to say that if after ovulation it drops and is staying low then your probably out and it'll stay low all through af until after ovulation again xx

@GG2707 @mumof23188

There's a whole thread on this here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/3822976-Tracking-your-cycle-and-possible-bfp-with-rhr-on-Fitbit?msgid=97477910

In short there's definitely a connection! RHR seems to spike for a BFP and drop for AF but we've found that overall the patterns throughout the cycles vary from person to person.

@Juno231 many thanks!
