Coil and Coronavirus

Me and OH have decided we would like to start trying which I am over the moon about but I have a Mirena Coil which is obviously stopping that.
Part of the reason we decided we would like to start trying is because of the problems I have had on the coil. I had it in in December after 2 years of hell on the copper coil, whilst my periods have stopped once a month I end up in hospital because of migraines they are really bad. When my cycle is normally on my period I have boobs that are so sore it hurts to wear a top or bra, I have really bad nausea (people think I am pregnant), I am tired and dizzy for the week and I cannot concentrate properly. Its progressively getting worse, today I had to take a PG test in case because of how bad the symptoms were.

Will I be able to get my coil out at the moment with the way things are? This is more than just a conception issue, it is my health I have struggled with contraception for years I fell pregnant twice on the pill (one mini and one combined), once on the injection and ended up being referred to gynecology for the copper coil I cannot do this anymore.

You would have to check at your surgery/FPC.
I have seen women on here say they had theirs removed durining the pandemic but we aren’t doing them either in the surgery or family planning clinics at the moment in my area.
If you can’t get it removed on the NHS you may be able to get it removed privately if you can pay for it.
