@TTCmummy2021 I literally have no idea! It's so mentally, emotionally and physically draining🥺 a CP is a chemical pregnancy so essentially a miscarriage although they normally happen before 4 weeks and mine was at 7 weeks so I don't actually know what happened there as she wasn't very helpful then either! X

Katao · 13/06/2020 10:18

Morning girls, looking for your wisdom please. I was undecided about using opks this cycle as trying to be more chilled but anyway changed my mind and started yesterday cd10. Did one in the morning and it was surprisingly dark so did another couple yesterday and again this morning cd11. They are getting gradually lighter??? Do you think I have missed the peak already? My cycles are fairly short at 26/27 days but usually get a peak cd14 ish. I remember a couple of you getting positive opks at strange times. Any thoughts?

@lucyrp if you use the cheapie opks you don't use fmu anyway so no need to keep the wee 😂 that's shit what the midwife said, so if you're 19dpo now you need to wait another 9 days and it'll be 4 weeks past? I'd maybe just buy the stuff anyway unless it's bad to be taking extra supps x

Do you know what the average time from ovulation to period is @Juno231? Would 14 days be pretty spot on? And yeah I have the mentality that if I test at 12dpo then it would most likely show up and if it's negative I'll mentally prepare for next cycle, a late BFP would just be a lovely surprise ☺️ but can't do the daily testing as it stresses me out, but everyone feels differently about it xx

@LV1987 excited for you ladies testing soon 🤞🤞🤞 hopefully it's another big day next week

@Noble89 yeah give it a couple days then test again xx

@TTCmummy2021 ahh I'm so sorry, our bodies and these bloody tests can be so cruel can't they 😩

@Katao so green one is the oldest one? Did you change brands as I find the different ones can be difficult to read against eachother but I wouldn't say any of them look positive yet, although green one is close. I'd keep testing and if they stay lighter for the next week take CD11 as ovulation, with a 26 day cycle that would be a 15day luteal phase which is within normal range or could just be a shorter cycle. But if you're having regular sex try not to stress too much over them xx

@SmileyT oh god yeah! When do I test using the strips ? Can I use FMU for it and then one in the afternoon too ? Someone tell me how to use them I have no idea😅 she's shit anyway, she was the one thag was no use last cycle and she made me feel like shit and she's made me feel like shit again today. Yeah I might do x

lucyrp · 13/06/2020 10:35

@SmileyT well it's looking more like 14 days il have to wait. And also I can see why you don't do them FMU I've just had an intelligent recognition reading of HIGH 16 on the fermometer app 🤷🏼‍♀️😂x

Katao · 13/06/2020 10:48

Thanks @SmileyT yes the green one is the oldest. It's a boots one I had left over and the others are onestep. I did think the different brands might be adding to the confusion! Sticking with one step now and will test twice a day. We have been dtd anyway so covered but surprised i could be ovulating so early as my luteal phade has only been 11-12 days the last couple of months so that would make for a very short cycle!

lucyrp · 13/06/2020 11:00

Where is everyone today 😫😂

Something I've found from TTC is that I either have shaky hands or my phone is rubbish at focusing as I can never get a good pic of an OPKs or PG tests 😂 here it is but it was with FMU

TTCmummy2021 · 13/06/2020 11:05

@lucyrp - ah right, thanks for clarifying. We had a CP on New Year’s Day this year too so can totally relate. We wondered if maybe that’s what happened again with us too 🤷‍♀️

@SmileyT I know!!! They are beyond heartbreaking and cruel 🥺

@unluckyducky - thanks for being so lovely. It has been pretty horrid. X

lucyrp · 13/06/2020 11:07

@TTCmummy2021 oh no New Year's Day !☹️☹️ I think most of the time if you've had a positive result and are late on your period but not pregnant that's probably what has happened. I'd never heard of them before I had one last cycle and came on here. I do wonder sometimes if I should just not test at all until I'm like two weeks late on my period to save disappointment! X

TTCmummy2021 · 13/06/2020 11:17

We wonder the same @lucyrp but because we track as we obviously don't have sperm on tap 🤣 holding off for even longer is never guna happen with all the will in the world even if we wanted to!!

Yeah, NYD was shit because we just wanted a new year and a fresh start after all the trauma and heartbreak of 2019 (we were also buying our first house which fell through in Nov too). Weirdly, because of the ectopic, it didn't affect us massively. Sad yes but it was nothing compared to the summer. I know that sounds bad but in context, it was much less traumatic and emotional!

Sorry for going on 😬

Mococo1 · 13/06/2020 11:17

Newbie0818 thank you for asking!! . Honestly I feel like I'm in denial/scared of having another miscarrige so I don't think it will hit me for a while or atleast until my symptoms start- so far just lots of uterus stretching which is fancy for mild cramping 🤣 and return of the creamy/lotioning discharge

Sorry been a bit quiet I went into cleaning mode! What's everyone's plans for the weekend??

lucyrp · 13/06/2020 11:21

@TTCmummy2021 yeah that's very true. I feel like I wish I hadn't stopped having sex now and we should have ploughed on through my dry patches 😂 now I think I may even have missed my ovulation!

Oh no 2019 sounded like a shitty year for you! No no you're not going on! If anything I go on far more than any of you on here 😂 2019 was pretty shitty for me up until September and it seemed to turn around then. This year has been a bit of a shit show so far for everyone it seems!

Mococo1 · 13/06/2020 11:22

@lucyrp have your internet cheapy pregnancy test strips come yet? Just catching up on the mornjng msgs and so long to wait for blood tests 😭

@katao I think LH peaks in the afternoon and FMU isn't recommended as it's too concentrated? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. TBH I got what was close to a peak then same two days later(like your top one) and just went with sex every other day to cover and I caught. Do you have any EWCM? That would confirm it probs is a true peak!?

@Ttcmummy2021 I'm so sorry ☹️your tests are driving you and wifey into confusion!....any chance FMU was diluted? Mine was and came back negative but positive in the afternoon- has another supposedly AF turned up? x

DKDK123 · 13/06/2020 11:23

@TTCmummy2021 that's when one of our CPs was too new years day, what a sucky way to bring in the year! We had our BFP the week before and were planning on telling the grandparents during new years dinner but the positive seemed to be getting fainter rather than darker. I put it down to the tests just being IC but wantes to be 100% before we told the grandparents so we were driving about looking for a shop open on new years day got 2 diff brands of tests and both came out negative. Had to go sit thru everyone being jolly at new years dinner choking back the tears pretending to be happy. I didnt realise just how common CPs were till I started researching after that again its one of those not really talked about things that really should be!

TTCmummy2021 · 13/06/2020 11:24

In that case, we deserve a baby right?? It sounds like 2019 was crap for you too 🥺 I'm sorry it was so bad as well xx

I wish we could have ploughed on too!! I wonder if we did now as wifey got her solid OPKs on the Monday so we insemmed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday but then she had had horrendous ovulation pain ok the Wednesday evening!! 🤷‍♀️

lucyrp · 13/06/2020 11:24

@Mococo1 no it says they're not coming until next week now. I used another co op one this morning and nothing so I'm taking it as I'm out now but I thought the blood tests would just check for something incase there was something wrong but I guess il never know as it won't be showing up 2 weeks from now!

lucyrp · 13/06/2020 11:27

@TTCmummy2021 yes you totally do! On to bigger and better things eh xx

Its so difficult to know when anything is happening isn't it ! But I'm sure if your wife ovulated on Wednesday and you'd insemmed Sunday Monday Tuesday then you did your best at catching it! X

TTCmummy2021 · 13/06/2020 11:27

@DKDK123 you poor thing!! We were at Disneyland when our CP happened. It's crap whenever it happens isn't it! Trying to keep a happy face on is just horrible 🥺

@Mococo1 - still no AF, just light pink spotting Tuesday and Wednesday. The test yesterday wasn't FMU but today's was!! Wtf?! 😳

Minster2012 · 13/06/2020 11:27

The end of the month for bloods @lucyrp what?!!

I've done pilates & basically fannyed around the entire time DH had DS so wasted it 😂🤣

J0DI3 · 13/06/2020 11:29

@LV1987 @Sydgal22 hello cycle buddies! Well I don’t know if it’s a symptom but I was a hormonal wreck last night. Just irritated at everything and even cried for no reason.

Feeling much better after a 4 mile walk with the pup and DH this morning. I’ve had creamy CM throughout the TWW so far so no change there. Eating like a horse but that’s not too unusual for me 😂 I am scared at the thought that this time next week AF is due! Still keeping my 🤞🏼✨

lucyrp · 13/06/2020 11:29

@Minster2012 yep it was the crappy midwife I had with my CP too so she made me feel like I was stupid so now I'm in a funny mood and falling out with OH because I don't know what's wrong with me. She said she wants to wait until at least a whole month has passed since the static on my CB !

TTCmummy2021 · 13/06/2020 11:29

You'd think so right?? I still can't believe you have to wait until the end of the month especially after losses before!! @lucyrp
