@Juno231 I know what you mean with the OH, mine is really supportive of everything but he's also so so laidback so he has no idea when I'm due or anything, I know he's interested and excited in the whole TTC journey but I think for him he'd prefer it if one day I just told him I was pregnant instead of him knowing I was late or thinking I'm pregnant in the TWW, but he's the same with everything we do so I don't over think it, I think because I know how much he wants a child I don't think too much into how laidback he is during the trying phase! Sometimes men are just so chilled and I bet he won't realise he's annoying you with his lack of interest and I bet it isn't intentional!x

I'm even more annoyed because I feel like even if I wanted to try again next cycle it probably wouldn't work because it would be the same as this one messed up again so what's the point😫 that's the funny thing I don't even feel like eating anything, I have had no appetite for nearly two weeks now ☹️xx

@lucyrp 😭😭 Have you got OPKs to take? Just thinking if your spotting was a very early AF (and not you usual because of CP), and that you might be ovulating soon if you are very wet? Doesn't make sense with the faint positive though. Since you are feeling so unwell you do need a doctors opinion so glad you are calling them.

@Juno231 sorry about bfn :( it's so hard when they're like that, mines the same. When he's sad he gets all the comfort in the work, but when I'm sad it's hit and miss depending on whether he thinks it's 'necessary' pfft. But he's the same as @Vil10 's with ttc. Just wants to see a bfp.

@lucyrp so sorry about bfn :( perhaps your body tried to ovulate and then didn't. Unfortunately that can happen. In fact I think it happened to me by the looks of my chart :( ring the docs in case x

@lucyrp I know it's easier said than done but don't think like that! It might just be this cycle then hopefully everything is bsck to normal! Push the doctors for answers and don't stop until you get some!! It's so strange how you're feeling but having a BFN! I'm even confused for you! But try to keep your head up!xx

@blodyn91 I don't have any I only have my CB digital but I guess I should probably order some ICs to see what's happenings with my body 😬🤷🏼‍♀️ just spoken to the receptionist and the earliest I can have a telephone consultation is 2pm this afternoon but I guess that's better than nothing!

Ahh @lucyrp glad you told your OH and can speak to the Drs this morning just so they can both be aware and make some suggestions for you. Just remember that our cycles are never spot on every month, last year I randomly had a 43 day cycle when all the rest were 27-30 but I think our bodies just do that to us sometimes when they need it and it doesn't imply anything bigger is wrong, really hope your period shows up soon if it is coming xx

@Juno231 sorry about the BFN and that OH isn't being as supportive as you'd like 😕 I'd lose my shit if OH told me that men don't care about such things, does my head in when my OH generalises 50% of the world in line with his opinions as if I have no right to be annoyed because it's a 'man thing'. But ttc is stressful and in some ways if he isnt feeling stressed by it then maybe it's nice to shield him from it xx

@Newbie0818 sorry can't decipher the chart but has your CM changed to more sticky yet? Or could ovulation still be on the cards? Have you carried on opks? xx

Morning ladies,

So sorry to all of you with BFNs this morning, it's heartbreaking and we all know the feeling. Even when you logically tell yourself you're not going to get a BFP this cycle and you know that it's normal for it to take time it's still a horrible feeling. Even worse I think because I swear our bodies play tricks on us, I had every symptom going last month and got a BFN. In the back of my mind I was constantly thinking 'something is up' only to be disappointed in the end.

We all have to remember this TTC is going to be a roller coaster and we have to be kind to ourselves. Those who are out please take some time this weekend to concentrate on yourself and try and put TTC out of your mind for a few days at least. Have a nice hot bath, a cheeky gin (or whatever your tipple is) and enjoy a nice weekend with your partners. I did that last time I got my BFN (after crying all over him of course) and it really did make me feel better.

9DPO for me this morning and it took every ounce of willpower I have not to test. My boobs are still tender. I don't think I could go so far as to say sore but they're just noticeable if you know what I mean? Like you're not usually aware that you can 'feel' your boobs as you're just going about your day but mine feel heavy and a bit tender like touching a bruise if I touch them. I'm not getting my hopes up after last month as tender boobs can be a sign AF is about to show but we'll find out tomorrow I guess.

Does anyone know how likely you are to get a BFP on a frer @ 10DPO? Like are there statistics on this?

@vil10 I think you're right and I need to leave him to it and stop comparing him to other OHs on here.

@dkdk123 @newbie0818 @vil10 @lucyrp @smileyt thank you all for your kind words 🥰 I'm a bit bummed but there's defo something going on down there (I'm having stretching pains) I don't have AF yet (due in 4) and Last night DH finally opened up fully about our MC and we hugged and cuddled for ages. So I feel like there's still hope for us & I dreamt the perfect way to tell DH about this faint line last night and penned him a letter this morning whilst waiting for the test to show nothing 😭 I'm gna withhold water intake today and pray my urine was just too diluted to pick up on anything, I know it's wishful thinking at this point but as you all say I'm not out till I'm out!

@lucyrp sorry to hear you got a bfn this morning. It is possible your body is still readjusting after your CP though please don't lose hope and don't give up I know it's frustrating. It could be that you're just having a longer cycle especially if you've been stressed? What CD are you? There's lots of ladies on here that have varied cycles and some have long ones now and again. Also @blodyn91 makes a good point could your spotting of been a really light period and your into another cycle already? It's so confusing TTC. Feel so bad for you today big hugs. I think you need to spend the day doing nice things then have a lovely evening with OH eat nice foods and have some drinks and try and watch a film together or have some fun and get your mind off this for an evening? If it makes you feel better think about me I didn't ovulate last month it seems so despite doing everything right there was no chance it would happen. Still sucked tho and I still tested three times but nothing boo. We will get there. What @SmileyT just said is really reassuring (thank you smileyT) we are not machines and our bodies sometimes do just need a little rest and reset and maybe you're just having a slightly longer cycle this time and it's perfectly normal x

What a rubbish Friday just about matches the weather boo!

I'm CD4 AF is just packing her stuff up ready to leave the building and I'm looking forward to starting a shiny new cycle. For those starting a new cycle where are you all up to? X

@Vil10 hopefully the doctor will be able the shed some light on what's happening with me. I'm speaking to a very nice female doctor who went on maternity last year too so hoping she will have some compassion as opposed to some who don't. If I'm not PG then I just want AF to come!x

@SmileyT he was his usual don't worry about it why are you crying there's nothing you can do etc. Not sure whether he helped much but I know the longer it takes the more he's hurting inside too. I know this cycle has been 34 days so far but I thought I knew when I ovulated so a luteal phase should be no longer than 16 days and if that's the case mine is currently 18 days. If my CB tests are wrong this month then what can I rely on any other months ?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ me too. No signs of her yet either ☹️x

@Newbie0818 i literally told myself there's no way its going to happen this month even when I was feeling ill etc. But when AF didn't show on time i started having that glimmer of hope. Lesson learnt for me! It's literally like when you're single and you're texting someone and they're giving off no signs whatsoever and then one day they give you thag tiny little bit of false hope and then turn into a fuck boy. Our bodies are fuck boys!😂

@Mococo1 its ridiculous it really is like I just said I think our bodies are fuck boys 😂 thank you for your support I don't know what I'd do without you ladies. I'm certainly glad I didn't tell my friends this time bar one as I would have had to deal with that too today. I also thought if I got pregnant this cycle I would only be 8 weeks behind my other friend so it wouldn't be too bad but as the months go on the gap just gets bigger and bigger ☹️

@Cocoblue22 I know it could be thay but I thought it was impossible to have a messed up cycle after my cp if my CB digital tests had told me I had ovulated so I had told myself that it was going to be a normal fine cycle but clearly not. I don't feel like I've been stressed but clearly I could have been without realising it although I tend to know when I am stressed as I get very stressed. I've felt very relaxed this cycle ironically 😫😂 the spotting wasn't even blood though it was brown thick mucus so I wouldn't say that was a period ?? There was no liquid as such. My friend is going to come over and look after DS for me while I pop to the shops to get a few bits so maybe she'll cheer me up. DS is being very cuddly this morning but annoying at the same time 😂

@lucyrp at least you've got someone who will be understanding towards your situation!! There's nothing worse than when a doctor or nurse is so off and it seems like they just want to get you out of their room and to see the next client! When I had all my problems with my back they'd been going on for years and my physio said I need to go to the doctors and push for an mri, the doctor I saw was young and so dismissive and was just trying to prescribe me cocodamol which I have but it doesn't work, I ended up demanding an mri and told him I wouldn't leave until he did his job properly and booked me one, turned out it's a good job I had the scan because something was seriously wrong!!

There I was thinking I was going to be one of these women off the CB reviews that catch it the first month of tracking with the sticks! Funny joke 😂 I think I might order some ICs to take every day and see what's happening from now on x

@lucyrp bodies are absolute fuck boys I tell you! When we want them to get pregnant they just don't want to!..I wouldn't give up completely just wait for AF to arrive which I know can seem like an eternity. I'm not fertility expert but I know for sure some women have an off cycle (LH peak and no ovulation) and espesh since this cycle is following your CP compared to any other cycle on any given day this one is probably going to be the one where law of odds don't work for you! I wouldn't stop trying completely as you are super fertile after a CP so maybe just see if you can't stick at it hun..we all wana hear about your BFP on this group! Sending you lots of hugs and support ♥️♥️♥️
