Cervical position

For anyone that feels for their cervical position, after ovulation how long does it usually take to drop?
This is my first month checking and it has stayed high since the day before ovulation. I'm now currently 2DPO and it is still well out of reach - is this a good sign or am I looking too much into things?
Thanks x

I've been tracking mine for a few months. Some information I've seen suggests that if you're pregnant it will drop and then go higher again after implantation. From what I understand the texture is likely to be the first clue of a BFP as the extra blood to the area keeps it soft (like your lips rather than the tip of your nose). Hopefully someone who's had a BFP will be able to give you more information.

I haven't had a bfp so my experience is very one sided however I have been annoying my cervix since September.
My consensus is this: don't bother reading into it.
Mine has been high and soft when AF started, it has been low and hard when AF started, it's gone high and almost unreachable during the end of tww and come right down day AF started, it's been hard and close and low straight after ovulation and has also been soft and low after ovulation. I can't make it mean anything at all as it's not been consistent. The one thing that has been is my period.

The cervix moves around throughout the day, after using the bathroom, after sex, probably after you sneeze to be honest. Whilst I find it interesting (especially leading up to ovulation) I can't imagine you'd be able to tell you were pregnant during the tww by feeling it.

I sound like a right grump about it but just wanted to be realistic. Hopefully it IS a sign for you and you get your BFP, but everything and nothing can be a sign and you're better off not looking for signs and just keeping your fingers crossed.

Thank you both for your replies.
@MrsKin90 don't worry about being honest! I prefer honesty than fake hope to hang onto. You're right though - can make a symptom out of anything but the most reliable is when you eventually get that bfp.
Fingers crossed for this month!
X

Goodluck 😊🤞🤞

I've been checking mine for a few weeks now and I can't make any sense of it. A few days ago I felt a tiny hard bump, which wasn't there before, and checked again today and it's still there plus another smaller one that feels the same. Not sure if bumps popping up throughout your cycle are normal or not, I've Googled and from what I make out it's possibly a harmless cyst caused by CM production, but a bit weird that it wasn't there before. Currently 7DPO

@MintGreenLife I had a bump appear my previous tww but it was gone the following cycle. Just keep an eye on it 😊

Glad to know it's not just me ☺️ Fingers crossed it'll go soon x
