Best pregnancy tests

Hi all,
I’m on my first cycle of TTC for our first baby.
I’ve got a good stash of budget friendly OPK from amazon - I’m wondering which will be the best tests to buy that won’t necessarily break the bank. Preparing to have to buy a fair amount!

Hey 👋🏼 if I was more patient and would wait I'd just use a first response on the day of my missed period...but I'm not ...I go a little crazy so tend to buy the cheap amazon ones that come in packs of 15 to satisfy my urge to test twice a day..🙈

I think your best of with a first response - didn’t get a positive on the cheapies until I was nearly two weeks late, first response was positive day my period was due.

The OPKs are great though from eBay/Amazon!

I’d recommend the First Response Early Result (often just referred to as a FRER). It’s quite sensitive and so you can usually get a faint line a few days before your missed period. You can buy a pack of 2 tests on amazon for around £7.

I've never had a negative result when I've been pregnant, it's always been positive whether a Clearblue digital or a poundland dip stick so I can vouch for pretty much all of them. However, pink dye is supposed to be better than blue, I've had a line on a blue dye sainsbury's test that shouldn't have been there.

@daisy0805 I try and hold out until 10dpo. The longer you leave the better but it's hard!
I recommend peeing into a pot and dipping strip much easier/less messy!

If you don't want to break the bank then don't test before 14 dpo. That is the cheapest option.
