Hi can you get a false LH surge after miscarrying?

I did a pregnancy test and it had a very faint line on the test side and also done a LH test and it was defo positive. Could I be ovulating so soon?

No one can help you without any information about when the miscarriage happened, how far along you were and when you got your positive tests.
OPKs can't necessarily differ between LH or HCG so if there's still quite a bit of HCG in your body, your OPK and PT can still come up positive.

Hi no I know regarding the miscarriage I've definitely miscarried just my HGC levels have not fully gone down to normal I don't think.

More wondering if the HGC levels that may still be there can cause a LH to be a false positive.

Thank you

Yes, they can.
It all depends again how far along you were and what the time frame is. Eg if you were further along there could be an issue with retaining pregnancy tissue which would keep your HCG up and would stop you ovulating.

From what I have read HGC needs to be back to 0 before ovulation/cycle starts again so what I am getting on LH surge is a false positive I think.

You actually can ovulate with HCG still in your system, but OPKs are basically useless until your HCG is back to zero because you won't know if the test strip is picking up an LH surge or residual HCG.

Yeah that makes sense - Thank you x
