Congratulations to any bfp I missed, I am staying off line for a bit, dh took ds for a long walk so I had time for nice pampering bath and all my nice creams my friend got me recently, I'll be back soon and catch up

Littlepeas2 · 17/05/2020 18:57

@Aimy1 congratulations!! Amazing news!

TheLastStark · 17/05/2020 19:03

Question to those who have had their bfps/have symptoms: do your symptoms last all day or do they come and go during the day?

I'm still a bit sore on my side, but the watery mouth/lightening fanny/cramps come and go during the day and would love to know if this is normal or me overthinking!

RobinRose · 17/05/2020 19:58

Hope everyone’s feeling okay today?

I’ve been an emotional wreck the last couple of days, I want to cry at the littlest things, I am so moody and want to eat my body weight in chocolate! (halfway there with the chocolate) either af is making a super early appearance or I’m just broken 😩

MrsEmilyB · 17/05/2020 21:08

Ahh bless you @RobinRose - these hormones are a bitch aren't they? Sending love ❤️❤️

jaxs23 · 17/05/2020 21:47

@aimy1 congrats!! Happy for your BFP

Littlepeas2 · 17/05/2020 21:48

@RobinRose this TTC is such a rollercoaster. Hope you are ok ❤️

Nicolet91 · 17/05/2020 22:51

@RobinRose
I know exactly how you feel! I'm quite an emotional person at the best of times but everything is heightened at the min!!
Hope your ok xx

bluebubbles12 · 17/05/2020 23:09

I think AF is getting me 😔 I'm due on tomorrow or Tuesday and I've just seen a red/brown streak when wiping (sorry, tmi!!) I'm 9DPO today, so if it is AF then I'll have to see if there are ways to help extend the luteal phase. Does anyone have any tips?!

RobinRose · 18/05/2020 06:50

@MrsEmilyB, @Littlepeas2, @Nicolet91 thanks ladies ❤️ Seems like this month has been hard for some of us! I am ok just want this month to be over with now!

@bluebubbles12 I hope af stays away for you! 🤞

Juno231 · 18/05/2020 07:19

Hm I'm on day three of AF now which is unheard of. Normally it's one day medium, one day light and third is just spotting but it's carried on this time! Makes me wonder if it's a failed implantation I'm dealing with the aftermath of now!

Either way I can't believe it's already CD3 and that FW starts again on Sunday - this is so much faster than the TWW!

SmileyT · 18/05/2020 07:29

@Juno231 it's interesting you say this as my period is absolutely insane, sorry this is definitely TMI but I used a super tampon and a night pad last night and both were completely full this morning 🙈 normally I do have one heavy day but don't feel like it's tailing off at all. My period was on time though so don't know if it would've had time to build up any extra uterine lining. I didn't even realise FW started on Sunday but femometer agrees with you, we are doing SMEP again starting on Friday and if this period continues it looks like that might be the first time we DTD this cycle x

@bluebubbles12 hope it wasn't AF but if it was look after yourself, treat yourself to a nice drink, hot bath and maybe a few treats on Amazon 👌🏾
Sending lots of baby dust to those testing in the next few days 🤞

Newbie0818 · 18/05/2020 07:31

@juno123 thanks, I’ll have a look at temp adjuster. Trouble is I don’t have a generic control time 🤔 I’ll see how the rest of the cycle goes anyhow. Yay new fw! I’m the opposite as I take an average of about 25-30 days if not longer to ovulate 😒

@CaramelTart23 definitely a line, congrats 🎉✨

@RobinRose hope you’re feeling better today lovely x

Sausage1990 · 18/05/2020 07:49

Well an update... It would appear thay my opk today is really low - a practically non existent test line so it looks like my cycle was similar to @newbie0818 and its super late ovulation at cd 51-52... What's most annoying is that we only DTD one during that time (cd39) 🙈 DH said we didn't need to do it again because he was "convinced" I'd already ovulated & there was no way I was ovulatinf so late 😬 I hope DTD again tonight will be enough (cd39 & cd52)...

Jesus christ what a bloody curve ball. What I now don't understand is why I've felt so nauseated and crampy this last week ☹️

Sausage1990 · 18/05/2020 07:51

I meant cd49 & cd52.. Not 39!

Aimy1 · 18/05/2020 07:52

@TheLastStark symptoms that I described are constant but again pretty much the same as pms symptoms. But they arent had extreme as what they normally feel.

I've woke up this morning with what feels like a cold and sore throat and slight upset tummy.

Another symptom (if that's what it is) i have noticed the last few days is I am really thirsty, csnt quench my thirst at all x

Skyla01 · 18/05/2020 07:59

@TheLastStark my symptoms were / are intermittent. What dpo are you? Hoping these are good signs for you!

@Sausage1990 I don't know what's gone on for you this cycle. I hope you get some clarity soon. If this was late ovulation then LH surge is a day or two before ovulation so there will be swimmers there to meet it.

Ltay2 · 18/05/2020 08:03

Those of you that use several apps for tracking, do you find any particular one more accurate than others for predicting ovulation day?

I am using:
Flo - predicts Thursday

Fermometer - predicts Thursday
Fertility Friend - predicts Friday
Natural Cycles - predicts Saturday
Fitbit - predicts Saturday

They all have at least a year worth of AF dates, and NC has temps but I am so bad at taking them I don't think they are too reliable, especially not the last few months.

So confused! We can't DTD until Weds due to OH slight injury so hoping it's more Friday/Saturday otherwise we are definitely out this month before we've even began 🙉

Franklydear · 18/05/2020 08:56

@sausage 1990, I get you, I felt just like that at the end of the cycle, come on here to rant, perfect place
@juno, that's funny, I had the day and a half on full, none of my normal spotting business malarky

TheLastStark · 18/05/2020 09:07

@Aimy1@Skyla01 Thanks for the input! I'm only 6dpo so implantation hasn't even happened yet, but as I said haven't been feeling myself since after ovulation. Today I've woken up bone tired and feeling heavy around my uterus. I know I'm setting myself up for failure by being overly optimistic with these symptoms, but I want this so much!!

@Ltay2 I use OVIA and Femometer (and Fitbit passively). Fitbit I find to be utter shite and not worth it at all.
OVIA is the prettiest but based me off a typical cycle, so was a few days off with ovulation
Femometer was the most accurate although I doubted it at first!

SmileyT · 18/05/2020 09:34

@Sausage1990 this is only the 2nd month I've been looking out for ovulation but I did note on my apps that I felt nausea and cramps around ovulation day so that could make sense 🤷🏾‍♀️

RobinRose · 18/05/2020 10:27

@Newbie0818 I am okay! Just have a migraine which isn’t making me feel great, I’m not doing very well am I? 😂

How are you getting on? x

Ltay2 · 18/05/2020 10:57

@TheLastStark Thanks! I have done another OPK this morning and still negative although appears to be a veryyyy slight second line forming so will do another this evening. Suppose only time will tell!

Skyla01 · 18/05/2020 10:58

@Ltay2 I found Flo very accurate, but then I had very regular cycles. Sorry about oh and his injury, hopefully it heals quick. I always looked at ovulation as a 7 - 10 day window and tried to DTD at least every second day. For example if ovulation was predicted cd18, would dtd from cd12 to 22. That way even if you are earlier or later than predicted you're covering all bases.

Sausage1990 · 18/05/2020 11:09

@Skyla01 I have no idea either. But I do think this is late ovulation - I've attached my tests to show. It's clearly a spike and drop. For some reason today's image won't come up in the summary so I've attached it separately.

@SmileyT yeah I've always had cramps around ovulation, I might get the odd month where I don't but usually I do. And the cramps I had the lats few days definitely felt like ovulation pain... Which is why I insisted we DTD - although I'm a bit annoyed with myself that I didn't insist on DTD again last night.
🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
