@MrsEmilyB I realised a weird new symptom today so thought I'd share incase anyone trawls these threads like I have done while TTC...a very strange pressure feeling in my face - like I'm underwater or on a plane!

@veryluckyducky - how odd! I had pins and needles in my nasolabial / lip area the last 2 days but I think that was an after effect of my migraine 😂😂

@MrsEmilyB oh yeah that does look a lot more stable in your luteal phase this month that's a great sign 👌🏾 also interesting to see your different cycle lengths - I'm such a graph geek, I constantly look through other peoples on my app and find it riveting #lockdownlife

@MrsEmilyB of course I don’t mind. To be honest I haven’t had many at all! But I’ve really been trying not to look. The ones that were different from me were
Constipation 7DPO - 11DPO and then on 11DPO bad cramping followed by loose stools (sorry for the TMI 🤣)
Then yesterday And today my lower back has really really ached which is not a usual AF symptom for me. Also had headaches on and off which again is not normal for me. But honestly nothing major for me at all! No sore boobs, or tummy twinges or anything! So I’m really hoping all is ok!!

As for not obsessing, I haven’t tracked anything this month and not been on any of my cycle apps so I wasnt actually sure when I ovulated! So I’m still just assuming by cycle length I’m 13DPO. This was the only ‘baby’ related thing I’ve done this month as I think this is really good for us women going through this TTC. I’m so excited to follow everyone’s stories!!

@littlepeas2 - how interesting! I'm often constipated for the second half of my luteal phase followed by an upset tummy just before AF!

@TheLastStark - I was talking about my face 😂 but I've heard lightning fanny is a good sign!

@SmileyT - yes, cycle 5 was freakishly long. My ones before that were 29 days, 30 days, 27 days and 35 days. So not super regular, but enough!

Tested in the morning using the cassette preg test and-nothing. Tested again this evening- still nothing. Felt like everything was crumbling before my eyes 😭

Currently 10dpo so I don't know... I'm really in a limbo and don't think I'll be doing another test till Monday atleast.

What should I do?

@TheLastStark - no shame in an electric foof! 😂😂 It's more of a sign than my fizzy lips!!

@CaramelTart23 - welcome! 10dpo is still very early - implantation can happen up to 12dpo and then they say it takes at least 2 days after implantation for even the most sensitive hcg test to show positive. What cycle are you on? I'm Emily, and we are on Cycle 2 trying for baby number 1 x

@MrsEmilyB Hey Emily I'll keep that in mind but definitely not feeling positive like I was in the previous thread. Feel very let down 😞

I'm currently on cycle #5- this month is the only month where I have tested positive on an OV test... very dark lines for two days beginning 5th May, but I'm going by 6th as I tested during late night.

We're trying for baby #1 after a miscarriage a few years ago. So we naturally decided to put baby making on hold.

I've been on pills, implants you name it since MC.

But this is the only month where I feel 'off' with some preg like symptoms.

this ttc journey is a total roller-coaster of emotions. I felt so positive last month and was absolutely crushed when I didn't get my bfp.We are trying the SMEP this cycle to see if we have any better luck!

Are you tracking in any other way other than OPKs?

I've had irregular periods in the past and have only had a regular 28 day cycle since February 2020. However I have been testing OV every day without fail and never ever had any kind of lines until 5th May- which really threw me off emotionally as I thought perhaps I should start enquiring about treatments with GP and forget trying to conceive naturally all together!

The only problem for me not being able to follow the smep until now was because I had no idea if I was even ovulating, let alone look for a rhythm in my body 😩

But now I just think maybe this is the first cycle of actually being able to ovulate so maybe my bodies just getting the hang of it so won't get preg this cycle 😞

I think it's brilliant and hope smeping goes smoothly for you. It beats the odds of dtd here and there atleast you have a structure to follow!

I really appreciate feedback and comments/ideas here so please feel free to give me any advice! Xx

@CaramelTart23 you might have ovulated and just missed it. Some peaks are really short. You can follow the SMEP if you don't know when you ov. Just start DTD CD 8 and BD every other day until AF arrives. It will be a long couple of weeks so stay hydrated

Arghhhhh... so finally got my temp rise this morning but now I’m in a right mood. DH & I had been talking about it everyday and he’s been so sweet in the mornings checking to see if there has been a rise, but I explained to him that we need to carry on BD every other day until the rise in case it was late ovulation. The night before last he has a headache and then last night he was sat up finishing a film so I asked him to wake me up when he came up to bed (which he was up for) but I’ve just woken up to him snoring next to me and now I just feel like it’s a wasted month as we last had sex on CD14 and today is CD18 😫

I’ve tried to convince myself it’s still possible as there are internet sources saying the temp rise isn’t always necessarily the day after ovulation but I feel like I’m just kidding myself and I’m gutted

Think I’m heading for the June bus too. Had a BPN this morning 10dpo

@MoonW get him up this morning, will be the same as doing it last night really and then you know you've done what you can 👌🏾 I know it's hard but just try not to stress about what you haven't done, sometimes life gets in the way x

@MrsRSS 10dpo is still early to have a bfp wait until Tuesday/ Wednesday and test again xx

Thanks @SmileyT. Period is due tues/weds so think will just wait and see if that comes. Not feeling too hopeful though.
