Hi Ladies,

So we seem to be absolutely hammering through our May Bus 2 thread. My gosh we can chat! But you have been vital to my sanity this cycle ❤️❤️❤️ I've tagged as many as i can think of at the end of a working week 🤯 please tag the others as I absolutely haven't the brain power!

Thanks girls! Xx

Madz123 · 13/05/2020 09:04

Felt the need to take a test today due to working tonight (would have been a nice excuse not to work with infectious patients 😂) but pretty sure it's BFN - although my line eye is trying to trick me that there could be a line when looking at it at a certain angle 🙈 if the inverted image is negative does that kind of confirm a BFN? ☹️

@Madz123 I think I see a v v v faint line but it’s hard to tell! How many dpo are you?

Aimy1 · 13/05/2020 09:09

I'm around 6dpo. Normally my cm is very watery, to the point I feel like I've wet myself or some on. Today is almost like a white lotion? Trying to not think to much of it. Cervix is pretty high, soft and closed too. X

Madz123 · 13/05/2020 09:15

@RobinRose I'm not really sure because my last 2 cycles were messed up (47days the 17 days 🙄) and I wasn't tracking ovulation 😕 my guess is 9-12 dpo but that's a complete guess really

Franklydear · 13/05/2020 09:30

Ladies cd 23, and I woke up without any symptoms, ... right, I am going to catch up now

SmileyT · 13/05/2020 09:32

@Juno231 I'm actually the same, I don't remember getting cramps days before my period and I've definitely had that pulling/ movement sensation. Yesterday it was a kind of throbbing in my ovary area but no idea if it's normal as don't think I would've noticed it before. Hopefully we both get our BFPs this week, I'm pleading with my body to just let me pregnant 😂 think I will test on Saturday/Sunday with a cheap test if I've got no signs of AF x

@Madz123 @Mrsi2020 you could both definitely be too early so don't count yourself out yet!! 🤞 🤞

@Aimy1 any change to what you normally have during TWW can be a positive sign 🙏

Juno231 · 13/05/2020 09:46

@SmileyT what cycle are you on again? The only comfort I have in moving onto cycle 5 is that that's when @adrianoska finally got hers lol - as illogical/irrational as it sounds!

@mrsi2020 you're still in the game! Don't make me call you a silly sausage again :D

TheLastStark · 13/05/2020 09:49

Question to those who have already had kids/had a BFP this month: when did you tell your partner? I have a nice way of telling him which can only really be done once, but also afraid of telling too early and having a MC or chemical. Did you tell right away or wait a few days extra to be sure?

On another note, extra saliva has continued and little to no appetite (I miss food Cake. Mr Stark has also noticed that I look a bit off. Fingers double crossed that this is it!

Franklydear · 13/05/2020 10:07

@thelaststark immediately, specially if sadly became a chemical, you'll need his support, my DH insist on being home when I test, to be a part of it from the beginning

Sausage1990 · 13/05/2020 10:09

@SmileyT I'm with you on that feeling. I just keep hoping and praying like please let this be our month 🙏🏻
@Juno231 I'm on cycle 4 too and I do understand your wierd logic with adranoska finally getting hers on cycle 5 haha having been on the bus with her for a new months now I felt so invested in her BFP haha

Sausage1990 · 13/05/2020 10:11

@TheLastStark I agree with @Franklydear telling DH straight away is important I think so you have the right support. You can definitely still tell him in a nice way tho 😊

MrsEmilyB · 13/05/2020 10:19

@Skip86 - ahh we do generally have a lot of smush time anyway, but this month we pushed to do it on the daily in FW (which was a bit extended due to late positive OPK).

Bleurgh. Just eaten breakfast and instantly feel sick. 3dpo so likely nothing but I'll note it down.

Ahhh @TheLastStark how are you thinking of telling DP when you get your bfp? I'm testing somewhere between 21st-23rd (not entirely sure when I ovulated and my app will start prompting me on 21st so not sure I can resist!) but DH's birthday is 29th so I'd really really try and wait until then to tell him as a birthday surprise!!

TheLastStark · 13/05/2020 10:32

@MrsEmilyB Femometer is telling me to start testing as of the 22nd as well!

DP is Dutch speaking so I got him a book in Dutch which roughly translates to "Help, I've gotten my wife pregnant" so I'm planning to give him the book along with a positive test Blush

Aimy1 · 13/05/2020 10:43

I am testing around the 20th/21st if af doesnt come before x

firsttimetry · 13/05/2020 10:53

Hi everyone!!

Going by my LH readings I ovulated on the 11th May. So at least I now know I am ovulating but my app was a little off in the previous months before I used the LH tests.

I am just wondering does anyone on here do cervix position checks?

Congratulations to the BFP 🥰🥰

RobinRose · 13/05/2020 10:58

@Madz123 it’s still early days then! Your not out till af arrives 🤞 x

Newbie0818 · 13/05/2020 11:04

Help!

Af has just started properly, cramps and all. But I thought she’d already come on Saturday, so have booked my 21 day bloods. Am I on CD1 today or was I on CD1 5 days ago? I’m not sure whether I need to change the date of my bloods 😓

Juno231 · 13/05/2020 11:19

@newbie0818 was it just on Sat and nothing in between? If so then I'd count today as CD1.

Aren't your cycles really long btw? CD21 only makes sense if you assume you O'd on CD14, otherwise it needs to be adjusted for 7 days post O -date I think?

Newbie0818 · 13/05/2020 11:29

@juno123 i has red blood on and off for two days, then brown on and off since. I’m confused!

Yes they’re long, but as I actually have no idea if I’m ovulating that’s what they’re testing for, my doc said to do this day regardless of cycle length as they’re so inconsistent.

@MrsEmilyB hiya 😊 I’m sure you mentioned something about supporting progesterone? I have come across these articles you may be interested in (although you may have already seen them!)

www.healthline.com/health/natural-progesterone#foods The section about Natural Progesterone Foods is interesting!

Hope everyone is having a good day so far 🌻

@newbie0818 I'm obviously no expert but sounds like the test will be of little use if done at CD21 regardless of cycle length. As in, it could tell you you don't ovulate because you actually haven't ovulated yet and won't until CD22-36 anyway - if you see what I mean? E.g. Adrianoska had one done that showed really low levels of the hormone they test for (can never remember which one) but that's because she ovulates early and so by the time they tested her at CD21 the levels have dissipated.

Obviously still do it but take it with a pinch of salt!

As for when to count the start of AF - probably best to ask the GP's office!

Juno231 · 13/05/2020 11:38

@unluckyducky sorry I don't see anything. Fx something will show up later in the week though, 9/10 is still early! (lol I tested this morning too at 10 dpo)
