@LV1987 sorry yours was negative too glad I wasn't the only one testing ridiculously early as I woke up. Finding ways to cheer me up this morning. Lots of snuggles with my little boy I think he must know I'm not myself this morning. Think I may have to visit the shop today and get a big bar of chocolate too x

@LV1987 I use the pink clear blue OPKs as well as cheap ones. I prefer the pink digital as it just gives a smiley face when you get your surge or no smiley face not like the purple ones at all they drive me mad! My surge happens quite quickly and I sometimes miss it with the cheap ones so I like these pink OPKs.

@LV1987 I use One step cheapie OPK's. Get them on amazon or eBay in bulk. This cycle I'm testing twice a day (morning and evening) and physically sticking the tests in a book to keep track. Given up with femometer app this month as the number results stressed me out, so just doing that and both DH and I are taking vitamins xx

Thank you @Mumofboys17, I'm still too busy at work to be upset, which helps! And with the announcement yesterday that the housing marker will "open back up" I'm sure it will get busier still. Not quite sure that my particular area of the property market closed during lock down though 😂🙄

I'll order some new OPKs later today, if I manage to take a lunch break! I'm so ready to tackle next month now, let's be having you 💪

@LV1987 being busy is the best way!! Obviously I haven't been successful yet but I only used these cheapies last time and did manage to conceive using them so just sticking to what I know and not messing around with anything new. Just got to keep trying no other way I guess! X

@Katie1109 I'm alright thanks lovely, CD16 today, I normally ovulate around CD20 so a little way to go yet. DTD last night and may loosely aim for every other day now, O day is predicted as Monday/Tuesday but OPK's are ever so slightly starting to turn - albeit still negative - so hoping it may come slightly earlier.
How's things with you? Did you go to the EPU in the end or are you just waiting for the private scan now? Xx

@LV1987 @Danni2019 I'm sorry ladies. So much harder when you have symptoms... cant help hope rising a little. I'm feeling really down about the whole thing at the minute. Almost 18 months trying. Have had tests done just told to keep going. Waiting for husbands SA but it is on hold with COVID. I am on Clomid and think it is making me way more emotional than normal.

I think I'm still in the game... I've downloaded femometer and transferred over my symptoms data, CM tracking etc and it's predicted ovulation on the 4th May making me only 9dpo now. We had lots of sex around then as well! 🤞

Well had an absolutely nightmare this morning and probably won't be using those soft cups again!! 😂😂😂 Dtd last night, put the soft cup in, this morning could not get it out!! Omg wtf I was panicking so bad anyway I had to sit on the toilet while oh pull it out of me 😂😂😂😂😂 ffsssss so I guess I won't be using them. Again!!!

Plus I couldn't get my thumb in there as well as my middle finger?? Oh couldn't get his thumb in there 😂 it was a disaster haha I thought I'd have to go hospital! Then thankfully I managed to get the tip to the entrance for my OH to pull out 😂 lucky he's got judo grip hands 😂😂😂 ffs I'm well annoyed wasted 20 pounds. I do think I'll use it the day before ovulation even if I have to go through that rigmarole again!

Sorry for hijacking the thread with a random question.

I was looking for some advice. We've been trying for a second since January with no luck, I was just using an online calculator previously but this time round I bought CB digital ovulation tests.

My period was started on 4th May and ended on the 8th. My cycle is 27 days to the day usually with one or two variations monthly so I started testing on the day the instructions said to (day 7) I got low then the next day and now 5 days since I've had high fertility but I'm just not sure if that's right? So soon after my period?

My period is due again on the 29/30th

Have really bad period pain today not due until Sunday but maybe coming a bit early. All I want to do is lie in my bed and do nothing today but need to find some energy to entertain my 3 year old as my OH is working and face a virtual staff meeting later today today too. Can I not just curl up in a ball as I can not face adulting today 🙁

@IndigoJem is it the one with the flashing smiley face you have? Sometimes you can get quite a lot of days flashing before you get your peak. I never liked those tests for that reason as I would get nearly 5 days flashing before finally the static smiley came x

@Danni2019 hi, yes it is. I already hate that little flashing face and I've only seen it for 4 days. I read that like 8% of people never ge the peak and I'm thinking that'll be me.

@IndigoJem I got that annoying smug flashy smiley for 13 days before I gave up! Now it's looking like my peak would have happened a couple of days later 😂 stick with them, but if you want the reassurance that things are progressing, use some cheapy OPKs alongside them. I never got round to that myself this cycle, but I will do so next cycle. Hope that helps 😁

Ladies I'm really confused. OPK's are still very much negative but I'm really wet down there today and cm is almost clear and borderline egg white ish! Wtf?! Needless to say we'll give it a bang tonight anyway but just find it really weird! 🤷🏼‍♀️😕 CD17 today for me so really early x

@Mumofboys17 it seems that lots of ladies all over MN are seeing different for them ovulation this month - lots of people ovulating later than expected, and lots who seem to be having several attempts to get that little eggy out. It could be lock down playing havoc with your cycle? As you say, just give it a bang and hope for the best 🤞🤞

Can anyone clue me in on what period back ache feels like? I never really suffered with any pain while on the pill, but today I have back ache and a crampy feeling in my bum... Not too severe, but hanging around and noticeable. Is periody back ache the same kind of feeling as when you've been sat awkwardly, or is it different?
