Short cycle girls

I can't seem to see a thread for this so thought I'd start one. Any other girls with cycles shorter than 28 days please join and let's discuss! Mine fluctuates from 24 to 26 days, I usually ovulate day 10 on a 24 day cycle and yet to track when I ov on a 26 cycle but I would imagine it's day 12. I have a normal LP of 14 days but would love to have a longer follicular phase. 8 months of trying. I'm 34, husband is 37.

I’ve just begun the dreaded TWW and I’m already sick of it before it’s started! As soon as I hit cycle 12 I’m getting a GP appointment, sick of not knowing if everything is normal or not x

I'm on day one of flashing smiley face and EWCM so I think I'll be in the TWW very soon too!

The cynical side of me is thinking the private tests are a con now since the same test came back fine with GP ... or maybe it's just taking my body a while to go back to normal having stopped mini pill 6 months ago. Who knows.

@notyetamumbuttrying nope definitely not gonna be testing. I never do nowadays, I always wait for AF.

@MimiArm yea I don’t blame you for feeling like that. They’re the same test so they should basically be the same result, so unless your hormones have varied loads in a short time but that’s unlikely. It does make you wonder 🤔

Hi everyone! Just an update I tested today (9DPO) as been having some pretty strong twinges on my lower right side the last couple of days. Still a BFN for me at the moment but not losing hope. Even DH is getting excited now and bought me a pair of maternity dungarees online today, they’re lovely! Hopefully won’t be long before I can wear them...

How is everyone else getting on? I have gotten well and truly lost on the June bus thread now lol. I keep reading it but don’t comment much as they tend to get lost.

Yeah same @slimshadyscousin in terms of the June bus, think I'm just gonna comment sporadically cos I can't be arsed to keep up anymore lol! Aw bless your Dh with the maternity wear, what a cutie! Really hope you get your bfp!! So I'm 1dpo today and enjoying a couple ciders before any implantation can take place! It would be lovely to catch this month as then we could announce on our year wedding anniversary at the end of aug! Soppy I know 😂

That would be lovely to announce on your anniversary! I’m so jealous of the ciders, I haven’t had a drink since AF just incase. Would kill for a G&T in the sunshine 😫😫

Hmm prob not, a had a few pineapple chunks yesterday as we had them but they irritate my tongue so don't have them often. Do you then?

Nothing to report for me I’m either 1 or 2 DPO depending on which test I go off.
I joined a June bus but by the time I went back to it a day later there were like 100+ new posts so I’ve never bothered jumping back in!
What’s this about pineapple?

@Nat4392 eating pineapple is meant to make your uterus a better environment for implantation if you eat it in the early DPO! I struggle to eat it too so I just drink the juice but tbh it probably doesn’t make that much of a difference. I know the bus is so busy I can’t keep up, it’s much nicer to have a smaller thread. ☺️ No judgment here @notyetamumbuttrying I don’t blame you for carrying on and having a drink! I am currently treating myself to some local fudge, definitely going to be the size of a house by the time I go back to work, pregnant or not 😂

I’ve just done my shop and bought a pineapple and pineapple juice. Not a huge fan of them but we’ll see if it works!

Took a test this morning at 10DPO and I have a proper squinter! Test above is BFN from 9DPO. What do you all think?

How’s everyone doing?
I’m so fed up today after hearing yet another pregnancy announcement from someone we know. I’m happy for them but my immediate reaction was to be pissed off and just cry!

Aww @Nat4392 that was me on sat! It was even more crushing as she played along when I told her how much I was hating ttc. She made out as if she was trying too but it turns out she was already pregnant! I know ppl hide it until 12 weeks but was still shocked she didn't confide in me considering all I was saying to her and the fact we've been friends 16 years! Ah well. I know how you feel nat, it passes. You'll be alright in a few days. I cried too but the next day as she decided to call me right before I was meeting my family for the first time since feb so kept it together for them! Obviously she wasn't meant to know that tho.

@notyetamumbuttrying wow that’s annoying. I understand most people (myself included) don’t tell everyone until 12 weeks but pretending to relate to the pains of TTC just takes the piss.
I had a good cry before when DH could tell I wasn’t myself. I think it’s actually given him more motivation to try more as it’s his best friends wife that’s pregnant and he’s always said he’d like to do daddy play dates bless him 🙈
AF due Tuesday so we’ll see. Usually by now I have really sore big boobs but they’re no different this month which is unusual. Not going to complain, although bigger boobs are always good 😂

Yeah think that's why I was so hurt by the lie @Nat4392 but I do get why she did it.
Aw DH sounds like a sweetie! Mine now gets as crushed as me when I tell him someone else is pregnant lol! He was better this cycle in fw, we actually did it more than ever so hoping more sex makes the difference!
Bigger boobs are the one aren't they lol! I'm not due until next Friday but gonna test on Thursday cos I'm impatient as fuck 😝 hope your AF doesn't show on Tuesday 🤞🏾
