Pregnancy test faint line

unsure2020 · 02/05/2020 20:00

Done this test and just before two minutes I got this result (1st picture) I'm using the coil as contraception so not sure if it's an evap line. The second picture is at 8 minutes. This was using afternoon urine

Unsure of dpo or last period because I haven't had one however I did have two days of spotting on the 13th April
Any opinions ?

Negative digi this morning ! Got a frer for tomorrow morning and if that's negative I'm out of the woods! Woohoo 🙂

I'm glad you got the result you want! I did a digital today, pregnant definitely!

unsure2020 · 04/05/2020 19:34

@ohgodhelpme congratulations 🥳 looks like we both got the result we wanted, although deep deep inside I'm a bit gutted but it's not bothering me

@unsure2020 Just to let you know that if you're very early on in a pregnancy, your HCG levels may be too low to register properly on a digi test. I'm not trying to alarm you; I just wanted to make sure you were aware.
I know you said you're going to do a FRER tomorrow morning, so that should definitely make things clearer one way or another.

Best of luck for the result you want, OP.

unsure2020 · 05/05/2020 08:46

@Glitterandunicorns thankyou for that, I was aware but thought the digi with weeks estimator was 10miu ?

unsure2020 · 05/05/2020 08:48

Frer negative I think, did have a shadow of a line but seemed to fade.
Do you think this is a reliable result now?

Hey @unsure2020, I can see the faintest line, personally I would testest later today after a few hours hold. Some people (incl me) get stronger lines later in the day and not with FMU.

Glitterandunicorns · 05/05/2020 09:21

I can't see anything on that test. I would have thought that if you'd get a positive on a different test, it would also show on an FRER.

pooopypants · 05/05/2020 12:12

Digital tests are shite - unless you're 6+ weeks (roughly). FRER are the most reliable. Did you check the FRER within the timeframe stated?

unsure2020 · 05/05/2020 23:58

Thanks, il test again ina few days, spent too much!! @NoCallerID

I would of thought it would of shown a clear positive given the blue dye ones. I'm assuming it's negative now and will test again in a few days @Glitterandunicorns

I did check the frer within time frame the pictures are within two minutes

There is a vvvfl on the frer but they do through those up sometimes...if the line on the Tesco test was a 'real' line then the line on frer would be very bold.

unsure2020 · 06/05/2020 21:01

@DressingGownofDoom that's what I'm thinking, I'm not wasting money on any more tests now it's definitely negative I think

Hi, just wondering if you found out if this was positive?

I've been ttc 7 years now and had this same result on a tesco test yesterday x

daisychain1620 · 16/08/2020 16:53

@Moonwater they do look positive and as they're in both tests it looks like it could be good news. Good luck

Moonwater · 16/08/2020 19:07

@Moonwater thankyou, I don't know how to upload a photo but the line is so so faint.. I will try a digital in a few days time. For the last 3 days I've had period type cramping aswell.. Slightly confusing. Thankyou xx

daisychain1620 · 16/08/2020 19:21

Congratulations!

Hi all,

I have done a pregnancy test this morning and it’s positive - Tesco’s one and blue thick line. Clear blue early detection this afternoon was negative? Could this be due to being early in my pregnancy... is there such thing as a false positive with Tesco whereby the line is thick and blue not grey?

Thanks so much first pregnancy if I am!

Glitterandunicorns · 17/08/2020 14:49

@Charlie372939494 you'll get more answers to your question if you create your own post :-)

It's probably that you're early in your pregnancy. I have never used either of those brands so I can't comment on their reliability. Your best bet is to try a First Response Early Result tomorrow with first morning urine.

Best of luck!

Lov3my2 · 19/10/2020 23:07

Hi. Just wondering if anyone could shed any light.

I've done a test. I'm around 11 or 12dpo. Lost my last 3 in mmc.

Just wondered if you would see this as a positive.

Thank you

Boredinthehouse12 · 20/10/2020 09:37

@Lov3my2 looks positive to me! Although I would retest with a FRER just to be sure

Lov3my2 · 20/10/2020 10:45

I couldn't find a first response so got one if these tesco ones people rave about
