We are trying for baby no 1 and had an early miscarriage beginning of the year. I’ve been starving hungry all week, exhausted and sore boobs for days - AF due on Sunday. I could resist a resist a test this morning and I think I see a line, what do you think? I daren’t show my partner he was so upset after the miscarriage I don’t want to get his hopes up!

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I stayed bleeding on sat and still spotting now. I spoke to epu this morning and mine aren't scanning unless severe pain or heavy bleeding due to Covid.
I've got a private scan booked for weds.

Stay calm and look after yourself, call midwife for advice on local area. How far are you?

This happened with DS OP. He was a triplet pregnancy. The twin sac went, he stayed x

I called the doctors Thursday to let them know about the pregnancy despite knowing for a week at this point. They said a midwife would call but I’ve not heard yet...last time I bled was negative 2 days later and EPU cancelled my scan and no one ever got in touch. Until the date of my 12 week scan to see why I’d not turned up.
I’m bleeding just like my period now, again I just don’t know what’s happening or why.

This is exactly what happened to me, normal period bleeding sat and yesterday morning since then Brown spotting. No pain or cramps. I need to see on a scan that it's all gone.

Oh I’m sorry it’s awful isn’t it. Fingers crossed it’s not what we think - I’ve tried to be optimistic since the bfp but we’ve had some tears today. It’s like it’s just gone?!

Have you tested since you started bleeding?

In my current pregnancy i bled for 3 days, after my bfp but continued to get stronger lines. It all turned out ok in the end!

@Jlw2020 and @Skybooks fingers crossed for you both. I didn't want to read and run, especially having just gone through this myself. Bleeding in early pg is common, but you know your body. After my MC the pg test was negative within 3 days. Get on the phone to your GP and ask them for an urgent referral to the EPU. Some GPs are great, others are a bit naff -- I basically had to tell mine in no uncertain terms that I needed to a scan to ensure it's not ectopic and that there is nothing remaining which might put me at risk for infection or further complications. The EPU were great and I got seen the next day. Definitely helped my peace-of-mind. Sending you both a virtual hug x

It’s like dark brown but not much? Just feels like I’m on my period. I’ve just done a test, it’s positive but a lot fainter than I’ve been getting this last week. I’m going to test tomorrow again, comparing the strength of the lines then ring my GP. I feel like it’s going end up a chemical and by the end of the week the test will be negative. I’m a very optimistic person but I just have quite a strong feeling. I love the NHS but felt so let down last time, the more I read about CPs the more I think that’s what happened last time but they had me down as miscarrying at 8 weeks but never saw me to confirm.

@Jlw2020 mine started off brown, then quickly went red. Was never a lot, not enough to wear more than a pantyliner and only when I wiped. Sometimes you just know, right? Are you still feeling PG symptoms?

I haven’t ‘felt’ pregnant at all to be honest, I’ve not allowed myself the excitement :( I’ve just felt a bit tired, irritable, I’ve been spotty, lack of appetite and terribly sore boobs - still feel the same but with a headache today. I’m already scared for next time. This is awful.

I would think it's a chemical as the line is getting lighter. Sorry hun

Okay so bleeding lasted as long as normal period - period was just over a week late. If my cycle had been normal (without chemical) I would be ovulating this weekend. Done a strip today - positive. Did another 2 hours later, even stronger! What is going on

Have u had a negative pg test?

I had a chemical and got a sticky pregnacy the cycle straight after - fingers crossed

Yeah got a negative yesterday! But normally I’m ovulating exactly 2 weeks after my period - this isn’t even one week after...but had I not had the chemical I would have been ovulating this weekend!? It’s so weird??

@Jlw2020 I've just read through the thread. How are you? Any updates?

@clairelee17 Sorry I’ve not kept an eye on this. So I wasn’t ovulating then, apparently you it’s common as you lose a pregnancy. I tracked my surge and ovulated on day 18/19 so quite late in my cycle. If I track correctly I was due AF yesterday, had cramping since Sunday but nothing yet which is odd as I normally only last 2 days anyway. Negative test though. Guess I’m just all to pot after last month! Thanks for checking in x
