Hi everyone,
hope you are all keeping well during these strange times.

For a long time I have considered donor insemination a viable option if I did not have a partner by my late 20s/early 30s. I'm aware that that is still young, but I have always wanted to be a young-ish mum so I mean no offence to older mums!

Ideally (for work reasons) I want to conceive at the start of 2021 (when I will be 29/30) and I currently find myself partner-less. So I have been looking into insemination and I am just really confused by all the different prices and procedures. I think I prefer to go through the NHS and self-fund rather than go through a private clinic.

Does anyone have some advice or experience around this? Not sure if it matters, but I live in Edinburgh. I have no reason to believe I have fertility issues, but then I have also never tried to get pregnant. My mum and gran were both pregnant after the first tries though haha.

Thank you! x
