When’s best for me?

Hi all, I am currently 25 years old and have been with my partner nearly 9 years.
Last year I sadly had an ectopic pregnancy and one of my Fallopian tubes had to be removed. I had a copper coil fitted, my GP said it was super rare. In surgery they also found I have endometriosis. Double whammy! What would be your advise on the best time to become pregnant? I’m concerned if I leave it too long my chances of conceiving will become impossible and I don’t want to not be able to give my partner children either. Stay safe, looking forward to hearing responses. xx

Hi @Lindseygirlxxx just bumping this for you, and hopefully some lovely Mumsnetters will be along soon with some useful advice.

We've also moved it over to our Conception board. Flowers

It sort of depends... How bad is the endo? A colleague of mine had to freeze her eggs cause she had so much scarring in her fallopian tubes - but then again her endo is crippling whereas you don't seem to have been aware you had it? Otherwise I think having just one fallopian tube shouldn't damage your chances too much so I wouldn't be in a rush to TTC now purely because of that.

When were you thinking of having kids before this happened? How many do you want, how is your financial position? All of these things come into play. Eg if you want 3-4 kids start sooner rather than later as it could take a little while for each to be conceived - but if just 1 or 2 then I'm sure you'll be fine to leave it 5+ years.

Again - depends on the state of your endo I think!
